If it rolls that way it comes down to Hawks and the Rams.

Who in the AFC scares anyone?

Patriots are about as good or better than any of them - if the Ravens can get right they are always scary.

Rams have got all the tie breakers over Seattle so it’s going to be very difficult to overhaul them to win the division; even if we beat them in Seattle.

If we win out and the Rams win out except for losing to us we win with the best w/l record by one game.

yes - i'm assuming we drop 1 game from here to the end. if we run the table we get the 1 seed, hence "very difficult to overhaul them"

A lot of football to play over the next month… I personally think GB is going to overtake Chicago in the NFCN - they still have 2 games together left starting this weekend…. But if this was the final bracket today we would be in a great position… it feels like it’s either the #1 overall or the #5 for us - provided we beat SF who isn’t going away with their remaining schedule… as a young team it might almost benefit us to actually play the wild card round and not take the bye that comes with the 1 seed as much as we would all like the home playoff game.

We will find out.

In this crap shoot of an NFC I’ll be biting the hand off for a bye week. Extra week of rest and home field advantage plus automatically being in the final 4. Anticipate lots more twists and turns; as every team looks to have more losses in them this year.

Not only do you assume a loss by Seattle (I agree)

But you assume Rams wins out (I disagree)

I think we lose to colts, win the rest

Rams lose to Lions win the rest

I do indeed. Hence referring to tie breakers. My point is we need to beat them on record in all likelihood and can’t rely on any tie breaking scenario.
Rams have a really easy schedule outside of us and the Lions so it’s hard to see them being likely to not win all other non Seattle games.

Colts look very beatable.

Daniel Jones seems to have come back down to earth.

Taylor isn't playing like the MVP he has been.

I think Hawks beat them the following week.

Jones is playing on a broken fibula currently.

When it comes to seedings and potential matchups, I will quote DLaw...

'I don't care. They line up, they get 'f'd up'

In that bracket, I would almost rather be 5 and host the Bucs while the other 4 teams clobber each other and then just march through whoever is left standing on our way to the owl.

I have a sneaky feeling that in 4 weeks the 9ers and the Pack will be the teams favored besides us. What Shanahan has done with that SF team this year is remarkable and I am sure they feel as though they are playing with house money. I think they beat the Rams in their upcoming game and could beat them again if they see them in the tournament.

My guess is Jones doesn't play vs the Hawks. I see the likelihood leaning toward him aggravating his leg fracture this week and sitting the remainder of the season. They don't have Richardson, so we may very well see another 3rd string (never heard of) qb vs the Colts. Either way, Jones is injured, they're not strong at the moment, so I'm not worried about the Colts. Seahawks are winning out.
