They're essentially our polar opposites.
I dont mind it either, but I also feel that Denver just is able to look so good cause they play crap teams all the time. The Giants and Ravens have looked like utter horse poo this year. Eli has thrown 7 picks. Ravens barely, and I mean barely, squeeked by the Browns. And the 2 teams combined still put 50 on the broncos. I will wait for true judgement when Devenr plays a worthwhile team.

They are also one Manning injury away from being a mediocre team. Their defense is decent but looks great because teams are always trying to play catch-up and giving them opportunities.
This isn't a 'bag on Denver, we are so good" post and I agree that they should be #1 until we can get our offense going. Just saying, I would put my money on the Hawks.
However both teams were my pick to be the teams in the Superbowl and I hope that happens. I would love to see possibly the best QB in the history of the game go up against what might be the best secondary in the history of the game, in the biggest game. That would be freaking epic. It doesn't hurt to have the Wilson V. Manning storyline after wilson matched his rookie TD record, and certainly doesn't hurt that we formerly had a long history of Bronco-busting going down in the old AFC West.
I want that matchup so bad.
Easiest schedule in the NFL. I wouldn't be surprised if they go 15-1 and barely surprised if they go 16-0.AbsolutNET":3a94qi9b said:Cartire":3a94qi9b said:I will wait for true judgement when Devenr plays a worthwhile team.
Their next 4 games are Raiders, Eagles, Cowboys, Jags....

Challenging games for the Broncos were SUPPOSED to be against the Ravens, maybe Redskins, the Patriots, and the Texans. Instead, the Texans are 2-0 by the skin of their teeth against mediocrity, the Foreskins are bad because RGKnee won't plant and their defense looks like Jacksonville's, and Tom Brady has pizza delivery boys and gas station attendants to throw to.
UGH. The Broncos should feel embarrassed at anything less than a 15-1 record in the regular season this year. They're not even going to see a respectable defense until they hit the playoffs if the Texans D doesn't improve. Talk about unfair. These scrubs will smoke the regular season then lose in their first playoff game this year, or in their second one at most because they aren't even going to see real competition until January. I'm going to laugh my ass off at my Broncos friends when that happens. Check out the Broncos 2013 schedule.

Seriously, they should feel humiliated if they go 13-3. Talk about a great year to get the Patriots on your schedule. Even better than when Brady went down and Cassel played the whole year.

Yea, its a bs schedule. I dont even know who in the AFC I would pick to win in the Divisional round against them to be honest. Ravens, go Ray Lewis Feels, came out of no where last year, and the Patriots were their usual hot self, except for Ray Lewis Retirement Extravaganza went bonkers. This year, I just dont know who in the AFC is even a threat to them in the Divisional if its at Mile High at 4-6 seed.

Yes they are lucky they get to play the easiest NFC and AFC divisions. But, for anyone else, going on the road to play the Patriots and Texans would be a challenge. I think you have to give credit for Denver being so much better than their opponents that they don't present much of a challenge.
