How much will it drop if we lose by two plus touchdowns to the Lions?

I keep my heart and my money separate, Did well taking the Seahawks against Miami. If I bet the game outcome against the Lions at all it won't be the Seahawks. Overall I am 5x on the season.

I think the Steelers and the Seahawks regarding their 3-0 current records are both in the same boat. Could be legit (Top 5 team) could be average once they start playing more difficult and/or healthy teams.

Until Kansas City starts losing games consecutively and in dramatic fashion, they deserve to be in the top spot. They have already proven that they kick on and win the games that matter. They have earned that respect.

4? Not currently in my book. Top 10? Sure. We have the #1 ranked defense if I'm not mistaken but with injuries and the OL situation, that keeps me from saying anything higher than 6 or 7 at the moment.
Per DVOA they seem to agree with ESPN:

Sea DVOA 92424

However, I'm with you since they haven't hit the toughest part of their schedule. I'm not even sure yet if they're a top 10 team. It's very possible by week 12 they could be 7-5. They still have tough road games in Detroit, Atlanta, later in the year in SF and at the Jets. Plus they have the Bills coming in as well as the Vikings.

They could easily finish the year at 11-6 which would still be better than I expected pre-season. If they can stay healthy and we get some Oline pieces back and firing it could be more like 13-4.

With the QB, WR's and RB's they have they could easily be a top 5 offense if they had a decent Oline.

I thought Atlanta and Raheem Morris failed by not electing to kick the field goal instead of going for it all on fourth down. They whiffed. Turned over on downs. Then, remarkably got the ball back and again went for it on fourth down and whiffed again. Ball game.

If they had decided to do the field goal that first time, and made it with Koo, all they would have had to do the second time around was kick the game winning field goal at a short distance (mind you) but Morris was pretty awful during that 6 mins stretch.

Atlanta deserved to lose and the Chiefs deserved to win cause at least the Chiefs knew when to go for it…
Refs missed a major PI in the end zone on the Chiefs. Should have had 4 chances from the 1.

Why is this not allowed? Let me be clear. Each team still has only two challenges. If you win one in the new rule, it states you get rewarded another. Cool. It won't slow the game down any more than it is already, even if any call is challengeable. The time difference would be negligible.

Make it happen dummies!

Didn’t the alt coach kind of give a scathing like response when asked about it from a reporter? Something along the lines of “I like my money”. Or whatever like implying that he knows any criticism to the official would draw fines, which imo I get on 1 hand on the other, officials deserve to be criticized.

Hell I’d like to see them do a post game interview where the media gets to ask them why things were called with replays up, and while being fact checked on if the call was correct or not and how it directly impacted the game or the outcome.

Then again they need fulltime officials who for blown calls like that are fined hefty amounts of money so as they ensure to get it right or try harder too.

Obviously a bad non call and again which is why I am a MASSIVE PROPONENT of allowing EVERY CALL OR NON CALL TO BE REVIEWABLE.
I think the fear with this is how much it could slow the game down, especially at the end of a tight one. Maybe expand the challenge system a bit.

That's my point. Nothing changes. Each coach is still allotted the same amount of challenges. This is a no-brainer to me.

Let me be even more clear. You can challenge ANY and EVERY play. That alone scares people. But why? If refs are calling a clean game it's a non issue. If they aren't? Their ass gets called out on it in real time. Accountability should not be just a concept.

Bad call or bad non-call? CHALLENGE IT!

Remember, I am not advocating for endless challenges here. Each team still gets 2 challenges. Yes, with the new rule that can extend indefinitely with each winning challenge. However, what's the most important factor here, is this is a great paradigm to keep refs in check. If they know ANY call can be challenged, it's less likely they will make poor calls, knowing damn well they will be accountable.

This is one of those things in life where it's such an obvious thing to do it bewilders the mind why it already isn't instated.
