I honestly think the ranking is fair. I can see how you're upset with a mid pack ranking, as if it's disrespectful to the team. But if you're going to take that mindset of ranking = respect. Then lets also keep in mind that at least when it comes to the NFL, respect is earned, not given. If the Hawks continue to clean up, improve and win games...the respect and ranking will rise. In the meantime, just be glad what we saw in the first half didn't cause the team to implode otherwise you'd be singing a completely different tune.

#19 to #10. Probably one of the biggest jumps of any team on that ranking. Does this satisfy your expectations OP?

I'll dissatisfy those expectations again

They have us at #19 behind the 1-1 Jets and the 0-2 Bengals

tbh, we haven't beaten anybody. The NFL rankings that kept the 9ers at #2 even after getting spanked makes me think their ranking have more to do with market size than actual football prowess though.

The Seahawks are so neglected by the national punditry, that everyone outside of local reporting has zero idea about the team. I know one thing for sure. The Patriots are much, much better than given credit for. Their style is perfectly suited for those December snow games at Gillette Stadium. After they take down the Jets on Thursday night, the national punditry's "hair on fire" response will pummel us with incessant "What's wrong with the Jets?" crap. The true answer is that the Patriots will smash them in the mouth, and they will own time of possession. The way that the Forty-Niners ran the ball on the Jets, I can only imagine what the Patriot's Stevenson is going to do to them. That dude is a load.

I have the Hawks around #10 personally. Keep stacking those dubs and they will be Top 5.

Yep, we still need a "signature win" to really vault up the rankings, and they have that opportunity by going into Detroit on MNF. And agreed on San Fran. It's just not credible to have them at #2 at this point. They're not the same team they were last year (particularly since you have to start wondering when/if CMC is coming back this year).

I don’t know what they are thinking on these. I mean the Niners looked pretty pedestrian against the Vikings yet the Vikings move up to only 15 while the Niners remain number 2. I can see a reason for not moving us as we didn’t exactly beat barn burners (although I strongly disagree with 19) but to leave the Niners at 2 and the Vikings at 15 is ridiculous.

I think middle of the pack, reasons being Rookie QB game one, Rookie Coach game two, we have one and almost a whole staff that way and are learning on the fly. Playing a more seasoned team like the Lions will give us the tail of the tape I think.

Definitely could see an upset win for the pats . Stevenson is legit and jets run D was suspect
