This is not a complaint just an observation. I was kind of surprised to see how small Harvin looked compared with the other players out there. Was anyone else thinking this too? Just thought with his resume I was expecting a more dominant looking physical presence.

Thought he looked fast, KR and when he burnt the guy covering him then had to pull up and came back for Russ's throw, on the PI/Holding no play. If Russ would have launched that and Big Russ hand not grabbed(although it looked like Russ would have been sacked, cause he was a second late rolling out, without the hold) looked like a TD to me. But small we our small,QB on to WRs. Just like Dynamite comes in small packages.

I can't get over how big an impact he made after a year off. Ridiculous.

He's definitely not a big dude, the type you try post up against a DB and let him fight for the ball in traffic. Get him on the move and try to get him the ball in space and let him work. He's the type that imposes his speed and talent, not his size

"Small"? Have you seen others team's "small"? I've seen guys listed at 5'8" ....and they look even shorter than that!

I hope all the guys who said he won't make a difference admit they were wrong. Even Baldwins TD was a by product of Harvin drawing away the safety. Harvin is a special talent and coaches are hating the fact that they have to game plan for him from here on out. He will make a huge difference.

Percy bench pressed 400 lbs coming out of Florida but I agree that he did look a little bit skinny. He did wear those sleeves under his jersey which I don't think he did that in Minnesota. Wonder if his biceps and triceps are not as big as they once were? Look at some pictures of him in a Viking uniform and he looks like a little tank!! Interesting observation.

Darren Sproles, etc. Lots of very small guys who are water bug quick who cause all kinds of issues for defenses. Low center of gravity and incredible lateral quickness give the defenses headaches. Get these guys in space with a head of steam and they're impossible to stop. They make dudes look silly in coverage.

The good thing is that he's built pretty stoutly even though he's small. He'll take a beating but hopefully his body will withstand it ok. I kind of liken guys like Harvin to Russell Wilson and they're hard to get a clean hit on. Of course, Harvin has a little beast mode in him though and he like to run through guys but hopefully he'll try to avoid contact a bit more since he's had the injury bug a lot lately.

Harvin is listed at 5'11" and 184 pounds so he was never going to be a huge physical presence anyway.

Now someone talk to him about updating his website. A little too much Viking influnce there for my taste.

I thought his legs looked smaller than what I remember looking at his Vikings highlights. I just wonder if his rehab of his hip took away from his regimen for building up the mass throughout his frame? WTH do I know? Working out and I do not mix.

He's not a dominating physical presence at all.

It's why he gets hurt so much.

This is probably going to sound a little silly, but having Full navy on without any breaks(no white in his socks, half sleeve on arms) gives of the illusion gave off him the illusion of him being smaller than he actually is.

I was thinking the same until he stood next to Baldwin.

Harvin is taller than Baldwin and we haven't been complaining too much about him. Last weekend you can see Harvin coming up to Baldwin after the touchdown, an inch or so taller.

I was considering making a thread on this myself. He definitely looks skinnier than when he was in Minny.

He's been out of football for a year and his hip will certainly affect his workout regimen in his lower body. It will return but we have to give him time. If he's ok after yesterday, he should be able to start working out hard and bulking up a bit I would think.
