Size doesn't always mean strength. I'm 43yrs old 5'11" and 175lbs. If you stood me next to Turbin and asked a hundred people who was stronger, all would pick Turbin due to his size. I've been powerlifting since Jr.high and have a 515lb bench press. If someone can help me post a video I'm sure some of you would say I'm skinny too.

Lifting doesn't always mean strength. Good technique and specific physical attributes allow for people to "bench or squat" a lot more........ short armed, barrel chested guys for example have advantages over a guy with long arms when benching.

Harvin doesn't have short arms or a barrel chest

Well I'm not short armed or barrel chested and I don't know how much technique gets 515 off my chest without strength. Anything over 405 on the bench is really, really strong and I don't care what "technique" you use to lift it.

Have it your way....if someone can contact Turbin and have him run full speed into Seahox I will be there to watch.

:thirishdrinkers:

Have it my way? I think you are dumbfunny, explaining to me how lifting doesn't make you stronger.......I'm talking about Harvin being stronger than he looks.
With a user name like "ImTheScientist" you sure sound stupid. The post, that is.

Percy is going to open so many possibilities up for this offense. That was fun watching Percy lining up as fullback and running a flat. He is going to give DC's some real bad headaches.

Seahox, we're all impressed that you hold the American bench press record for your weight class, but that's not what this thread is about so lets get back on track
