Jackson said he had switch cleats because our turf “sucked”. Carson has be slipping all year. I know it’s new turf, does anyone know why they switched and did they go to a new type of turf? The game I made it to it didn’t look very different.

What I was going to say. Whatever its condition, any advantage would go to the home team because they are more familiar with it.

Players looked like they were running through a field-size wading pool during that sleet hell at FedEx field, and afterwards Sherm said when he played there against RG3 it was dry but like a "sandpit." But whatever the conditions, the home team would be more used to them.

They lose because the visiting team just played better football regardless of conditions

Wet conditions favor the ball carrier because they know where they are going and make the first move. Responding requires more agility and thus more friction.

Wet conditions favor the running game relatively because they hamper the passing game. It's harder to catch a wet football and passing accuracy decreases enormously through the rain.

Wet conditions favor the underdog because they increase chaos. Everybody is more likely to slip and ball security becomes much more difficult.

Nah. He looked fast but our defense has a major disadvantage on a wet field reacting to an already slippery qb. If it was dry i bet our footing is better while tackling and our passing game is more efficient.
