Dot net experts have spoken, experts are unhappy with Woolen, and experts are keeping Grubb and building an offense around his system. A few veterans may therefore be unfit under the situation. We might also need trade assets to move up to draft that QB of the future.

Our probowlers:
  1. Geno, all the GeNO want him gone, what can we get for him? A two time pro-bowler for a 4th rounder?
  2. DK, is another pro bowler, but again on the wrong side of our dot net experts, DK for a late 1st rounder?
  3. Woolen, another pro bowler with holes in his games. a 3rd or a 4th?
  4. Lockett, may not get much due to age.
Others:
  1. K9, Grubb either doesn't like running, or he doesn't have the right pieces to carry out his running system. An often injured but very talented RB, a 3rd rounder?
  2. D Jones, not sure if he fits Macdonald system. Does he have any trade value?
  3. Nwuso, does he fit Macdonald system?

Sorry but those returns are not happening.

Geno and his salary? If we look to trade him that signals we want him off then roster. Teams will wait til we release him. Nobody. Even a desperate team will trade and pay him.

Dk- second at best. Again a large salary and if we dangle him sharks will be in the water. Plus we’d eat $21 mil

Woolen- you can’t be serious here?

Lockett - beside that fact he is scheduled to make 30 mil and has barely been a wr3, he’d likely retire then move with a new kid and his realtor gig. He may retire anyway.

Yeah, pretty sure he'll retire. The dude has made $89 million career earnings. He's good. There is no way the team doesn't use the out clause in his current contract to avoid the $30 million cap hit in 2025.

The only assets we have for trade are guys we don’t want to trade and draft picks.
Trades are so over rated. This isn’t Madden.

Our own 1st + whatever we can get for Woolen+K9+DK for that QB of the future?
We should trade geno to Dallas for cooper rush and their 2nd. We can fleece Jerry. Even our guys here on .net could pull one on Jerry just bust out all these stats about how great Geno is on third down when passing and not being pressured between the 20’s

I thought Smith was worth a 4th round pick in trade value back in March. I don't think his value has improved. I could see Metcalf getting a high/mid 2nd round pick for his $18M salary, partly because he'd could generate a compensatory 3rd round pick in the future. Lockett is due $17M in 2025 and he's not worth $10M. He has zero trade value. I could see Woolen being worth a 4th or 5th. Walker doesn't have much value because he doesn't block and he can't be used as a slot receiver.

This year's 1st, next year's 1st, Metcalf, Smith, & Woolen combined might get you to #3 overall in this year's draft.

Or we can simply trade Geno for Levis that ought to make the GeNOs happy?

Green Bay needs a big time WR, so their late 1st round pick for DK makes sense.

Used to be an old world monstrous WR like dk was two firsts. We need to shed DK and Lockett. We got young guys with potential. Pay some experienced olineman. Inside out. Cause Bobo, white and whoever are dirty cheaper

I mean, I'd be down for that lol. They both throw some really bad passes, maybe Levi's might gain some ground from coaching? We have seen genos ceiling the last couple years

There are too many holes to fix this mess in 1 offseason.

I'm ignorant to the fact, looking for insight, what would it take to get into position to draft Kyle McCord? Is he even entering the draft? Is he others are looking at? I haven't found anything significant as far as info. I watched him for first time last night against a depleted WASU team, but man, what a ball this kid threw. Again, not a huge college football fan, so don't flame me.

I was saying something earlier in the ncaa/draft board. I really liked him last night against the cougs. Then watched some of his past performances and yeah, he can sling it.
