It’s just brutal. I can’t imagine there’s another team with a tougher remaining schedule. Not happy with this lineup of games. “One game at a time,” I suppose.

I don't know about "brutal", but it is challenging.

2 games against SF and one against Arizona. GB is not the same, although they have owned us lately. KC might be firmly in the #1 seed by the time we play them and who knows how they will approach it as far as playing their starters.

5 out of the last 7 at C Link, and we always seem to have a shot no matter who we play at C Link (last season's game vs the Rams the exception).

I wouldn't say remaining schedule, I'd say the next month is definitely the hardest stretch of our schedule.........but then we play the Niners twice and the Cards again.

But it might be a moot point if we stink up the joint over the next 4-5 games.

I won't say "must win" for this week's game, but if we even REMOTELY consider ourselves a playoff caliber team that needs to find a couple road wins to get to 10 wins, then this is the game we need to win.

In the past, I found it frustrating that the Hawks would play well against the good teams and then "blow" against the lesser quality teams like San Fran. I never "count my chickens" ….until we play those teams. Let's see what happens against Detroit this Sunday.

The Lions game will be HUGE in determining our momentum to finish the season out. 4-3 is a big difference over 3-4 this time of year. This is a game we need to have. Must Win? I won't quite go that far but it absolutely counts as a game we need to have to be seriously considered in the mix for a wildcard when the dust settles. These games are the ones that come back to haunt you if you let them slip away.

The Hawks must beat the Lions and the Panthers both on the road or not much chance for the playoffs> IMO

I thought most here already wrote this team off for the playoffs anyways.

I’m not penciling in San Fran & Zona as W’s because we all know how those division games can go. Zona in our house has just been a nightmare. I hope that changes now that red face is gone. Looking at this remaining schedule, we need to win at least 2 of 3 home games against GB, Minn, and KC and we must win at either Detroit OR Carolina.

This game on it's own, is not a must win, but if we lose games like this, against beatable teams, then it means we would need to win a game against a better opponent. I'd rather win this game then need a win against the likes of KC or the Rams.

Seahawks’ schedule to date was ranked 11th by football outsiders and the remaining schedule is 14th hardest.

The remaining schedule is slightly more difficult than average (+1.4%).

https://www.footballoutsiders.com/dvoa- ... oa-ratings

Seahawks have four remaining games against teams ranked 28th in DVOA or lower.

Would anyone have expected the Hawks to be at #10 in DVOA at this point, riding on the backs of a #3 or #4 best DVOA-Def in the league? I'm a bit surprised, based on our new personnel fitting in.

But this gives me hope for the next month's gauntlet. It will be exciting to see if the O-line continues to improve, and the play-calling get even more creative with our TEs coming back.

Go Hawks!!!

They are facing some tough QB’s in the next 5 games. They need to run the ball and keep those opposing QB’s off the field and from exposing our young secondary.

Precisely. That's why we need to rack up as many W's as possible against opponents that aren't considered upper echelon.

Besides, I like to win in Detroit every chance we get. ;)

Look at the bright side....we don't have to play the Ravens at all this year...I agree that checking off the Cardinals & the Niners twice is really presumptive ...those guys are wounded animals...they would really like to 'mess' things up for the Hawks; if they can. The Hawks barely beat the Cards...the worst team in the NFL...and the Niners are better than their record. The Hawks are healthy now...now they just need to concentrate on 1 game...Lions

Seahawks need to enter second half 5-3 to have a shot at the playoffs.

Many things can happen this time of the season to the end, one game at a time and see where we stand. Once the playoffs hit whether in or out we have something to look forward to, draft and a young team that is rising and ready for next year or a new season and to see how far we can go and wreckage we can cause gaining great experience for our young guys to sustain success for years.

The team is starting to get healthy as they get towards the last half of the schedule. If they can stay that wY we as fans should be encouraged notwithstanding the challenging schedule. Against Detroit and against Carolina are the only eastern away games left on the schedule. If the team can string 3 more W’s in a row together with the next 3 games things start to look quite a bit brighter for playoff opportunity. Their strength of schedule considering their opponents this season will certainly help them at the end of the season if their record is close to other wildcard prospective teams. Each of their losses this season have been close games on the scoreboard.

I know it's only the 7th game of the season, but imo Sunday is huge. If they could be sitting at 4-3, with 6 of the final 9 at home? They have a real shot. Completely different team at home, and after what we saw them do vs. the best team in football MINUS some of our main guys, they can play w/anyone.

Totally agree. Winning this one opens up a serious shot a the playoffs.
