In the previous regime, we had Bobby, ET3, Shern and Beast mode. All of them were multu-time all-pro.

Best candidates from our current roster to become the next Megastar?

Not a lot of highly marketable/charasmatic dudes on the roster. Maybe Spoonman? I dunno, I see a lot of solid football players, but not a lot of those National attention grabbing guys.

National attention grabbing? Like all-pro, defense or offense players of the year? MVP?

Like anything, haha. I don't see a Sherm or Marshawn type personality on this roster. A lot of humble, "blue collar" dudes. I don't see any of these dudes being the face of a nationally recognized company (IE, Russ and his sandwiches, lol...or Shawn and Skittles). Spoon doing ads for Mikasa Silverware? Maybe...

You had to remind us of Russ's weird sammich ads . 😆

I think we have one in Leonard Williams although he's got to be about 30 or early 30s. But he doesn't seem to posses the kind of personality that Sherman , E Thomas and M Lynch had.

JSN comes to mind for offense . The dude was the 20th pick of the first round and has pedigree ...THE Ohio
State University.

I think a player or two will emerge in MacDonald's 2nd season. New team and it will have its own personality.

I could see knight, emmanwori, witherspoon, Jones williams and Murphy growing a chemistry built on early successes. Maybe this question is just a tad early.....Jalen could turbo charge this offense. Maybe Sam too. We have alot a tools

All optimism at this point.

This questions points out what we're lacking. It's not enough to have a solid roster. The top 5-6 teams all have 3-4 megastars, players who are real difference makers. That 2013 Super Bowl team had 6 or 7 big time players.

We do have megastars in our organization, just not players. Schneider is a megastar; most teams will trade for John if he's available, which he is not. Macdonald is almost a megastar after he fixed our defense.

The Seahawks will only have national attention grabbing guys if the team is top 5. The team has had these guys in the past but because they played for the Seattle Seahawks they didn’t get the national attention that they might have if the team was a contender. The guys that we fans recognize as national attention grabbers are mostly, if not all relegated to the LOB years. I suspect this is probably true for most teams outside of the perceived legacy teams.

Steve Largent, Jacob Green, Curt Warner would have been national attention grabbers had they been on a contender.

Walter Jones, Shawn Alexander and Steve Hutchison had their status elevated by simply reaching XL.

Attention grabbing come through success. Can individual success rise a guy to national attention on a crappy team? Probably not. Maybe the question is more along the lines of, how many national attention grabbing players does a team need for overall team success?

I cant help but think we are waiting for something special with change we have available. It's enough for one mega to open everyone else up.

Defense: EJIV, Big Cat, Spoon

Offense: (harder) JSN, K9

"Stars" emerge out of good teams. It's really hard to buy them in FA.

Jesus, this might actually be the first era of Seahawks football that doesn't feature any HoFers.
