Geezus, did Sweezy do that bad? I don't remember seeing him blow any assignments when I watched it on TV.

Did he blow his assignments, no not technically, as he was in the correct locations.

However being correct on your assignments only helps if you're not constantly being blown into the backfield like Sweezy was. He was atrocious. I must have watched him shake his head back and forth a half a dozen times after getting beat badly at the line of scrimmage. Even he knew it.

A turnstile doesn't blow its assignments either. It sits in the correct locations too. Sweezy = turnstile.

I just don't see what they see in Sweezy.
His name rhymes with Wheezy, which was Petes favorite character on Toy Story.

Has Sweezy ever played a full game where Seattle's pass-pro hasn't generally been terrible? I think back to 2012 @ Arizona, the St. Louis finale and the first quarter of this season...

Lets try out wheezy at fb

I dislike his straight up run blocking and pass blocking but i will say that his trap/cutback blocks are pretty good.

Sweezy is by FAR the best run blocking OL. And in the next year or so will be the best OL on the team.

And you can support this proclimation how? He is horrible, horrible, horrible in pass protection. I also detect the troll in your post.

Incorrect. Carroll is a huge Jeffersons fan, hense his favorite character is George's wife Weezy....sheesh..

and yes Sweezy is that bad, so is McQuinton.

Can you really argue with these grades, though? Carroll also made it sound like Jeanpierre was the only one on the line who really had a positive game. We basically "survived" everyone else's play.

No trolling at all. He has been playing OL for what? 14 games or so? In his entire life? And he is already our best run blocker and he is way ahead in pass protection from where he was last year. He will only keep getting better in pass protection. It seems that a lot of the people on here that bitch and moan about the OL that have zero idea of what the OL is actually supposed to do. You follow these so called "grades" and you hear one person say something negative about a guy and everyone that reads that just assumes that guy knows what he is talking about. Sweezy is the RG of the future for this team. Maybe even RT. People need to be concerned with our WR not getting separation.....like ever. The fact that Russell holds on to the ball too long and the fact that our FB cant block. All that plays BIG parts into the whole system but everyone just wants to blame McQuistan or Sweezy or Breno. There have been many times I get on here and see all these people crying about some player only to have Kearly (whos opinion and football knowledge I respect) come back after his game breakdowns and show you exactly why you are wrong. But I guess .net will always be that way.
