Scouting report for teams playing the Mariners: just don't pitch to Cal, and it's an easy win 90% of the time. Pitch to Cal and you'll probably still win anyway because the chances of anyone else do anything is slim.
This team literally only has 1 bat that anyone else in the league is the least bit concerned about. The rest of the lineup is just easy to deal with for major league pitchers.

It’s crazy so see how long it’s taken for the mariners to become really good while watching the tigers or the orioles trade draft and reload two or three times before we even load once
