Nice outing for Miller on his first start of the year.

Again, not enough offense. Too many LOB and poor hitting with RISP. Toss in a couple of defensive errors and there you go.

Still a chance to win the series tomorrow.

I mean, gawd damn. Our 2/3/4 hitters can't even manage to get a runner home from 3rd with zero outs.

They very well might still go on to win this game, but holy hell is it frustrating to see this type of thing happening over and over again. Especially with how many 1 run losses they've had this year.

I hate being this negative and this cynical, but just watch Dan bench him for Refsnyder his next AB because the Astros put in a lefty. Kind of unimaginable that a manager would do that to a guy that has a chance to hit for the cycle, but this is the Mariners we're talking about.

Nice bounce back game. 3-1 series at Houston. Feel like they let one get away last night, but taking 3 of 4 @ Houston is a good result overall.

Good game, good series, and won the season series against the 'Stros as well.

El Pietra looking a bit more like himself going 5.2 giving up 3 runs. Bullpen gets it done.

Lots of hitting, though not by Julio and Nailz. Garver with his first dinger and Donovan nearly hits for the cycle.

Speaking of Donovan, a couple of great assists in the 9th, gloving a couple of hard hit balls and strong throws to first. Defense was solid everywhere.

Back home to finish the Vedder Series.

I like Dan and Jerry; I disagree with that part.
I agree Rivas and Ref need to go but Garver? He's a walking machine,
the players in the clubhouse love the guy, it matters to them.

They always struggle just getting a damn fly ball to get a run in. Bases empty or with 2 outs, a ridiculous fly out is the regular.
