2-1. Keep piling up series wins. It adds up, and it's why they're still somehow sitting in first place.

I have little to no expectations. Hope to be shocked.

Dan has to have a much shorter leash with Kirby tonight. If he's off, he's off. I love me some Kirby but I don't want to see him run out there past the 2nd inning if he's getting lit up.

I get that we need to stretch his arm (this is essentially his Spring Training) but not at the cost of a team loss. He was pouting visibly, after every hard hit ball last game - I hope Kirby checks his emotions and is the Kirby we need, but if he is not then I hope Dan does what he failed to do last outing, and that is to pull the starter early if need be.

Yet, the same Dan will pull a guy who's in a zone after 65 pitches. He's in over his head as a manager, imo.

Here's to hoping Kirby delivers 5-6 innings with 3 runs or less. Not setting the bar extraordinarily high.....

First 3 hits were weak. Along with crap defense by JP. Kirby is locked in. Really should have a shutout so far. I can't imagine anyone not being encouraged by Kirby tonight. I think people forget that he didn't pitch for SEVERAL months. Only his 3rd start, and he looks like....Kirby.
Most of these hits are weak by the Orioles. Crazy luck on these grounders.

Damn. 103 mph off the bat and right off his face. Happy with Kirby tonight. Hope he's ok 🤞

Another tough one. Need the bats to wake up.

Kirby not exactly back to form, but got to 90+ pitches. Waiting to see how his arm feels in the post. Nice fat lip. :)

Not a good look for the offense when the only score comes from Tellez.

Cole Young flashing some leather tonite. In on two DPs, a 5-4-3 and a 5-6-3.

Well, there was a period of this season where they WERE the hottest team in the league.

Let me guess, I'm a homer because I acknowledged that they were red hot at one point of this season.
Nothing better than people ignoring the fact that I've been blasting them, often, after trying hard to believe.

Ok, let me do this again: EVERYTHING SUCKS, CUT EVERY PLAYER, FIRE EVERYONE, THEY HAVE NO SHOT OF WINNING TODAY!!!

Better?
Let me explain it very slowly: I....DO....NOT.....THINK....THIS....TEAM.....WILL....MAKE....THE.....PLAYOFFS.

🥱 🥱 🥱

Other than Cal and JP our lineup sucks. But that's probably gonna happen when you have a whole off season to address one of the worst offenses in baseball and all you do is add Solano, Tellez, and Mastrobuoni. Lol.

Side note, Moore has been one of our best hitters this season (2nd highest OPS behind only Cal), but has been getting less and less playing time lately. He now has fewer AB's than guys like Polanco and Tellez.

Rivas was one of our best hitters, and an on base machine, but for some reason they didn't want to play him and eventually sent him down. The guy was hitting .283 with a .411 OBP, both of which are the highest on the team.

So yeah, while the lineup obviously sucks, they're making things worse with some pretty head scratching decisions. "Hey, that guy's playing pretty well, let's not play him anymore". "Hey, that guy's been colder than the ice age for like 5 weeks, let's keep putting him in the 2 spot every day".
