I wasn't disagreeing with anything you said. I was merely pointing out that Vargas gave up a 4 pitch walk before he gave up the triple. You missed or skipped that in your post that I replied to.

I hear ya. Just really pissed off. I'm so sick of the same shit every damn season. Offense is painfully bad.

Other than Cal and JP our lineup sucks. But that's probably gonna happen when you have a whole off season to address one of the worst offenses in baseball and all you do is add Solano, Tellez, and Mastrobuoni. Lol.

Side note, Moore has been one of our best hitters this season (2nd highest OPS behind only Cal), but has been getting less and less playing time lately. He now has fewer AB's than guys like Polanco and Tellez.

Rivas was one of our best hitters, and an on base machine, but for some reason they didn't want to play him and eventually sent him down. The guy was hitting .283 with a .411 OBP, both of which are the highest on the team.

So yeah, while the lineup obviously sucks, they're making things worse with some pretty head scratching decisions. "Hey, that guy's playing pretty well, let's not play him anymore". "Hey, that guy's been colder than the ice age for like 5 weeks, let's keep putting him in the 2 spot every day".

Dylan Moore has been playing less because he hits right handed. These idiots (DiBozo the ) are addicted to "handed-ness", not actual ability.
They've been feeding us that Mastrobouni
garbage every game because he hits lefty. Now that Young is up, hopefully he will vanish.

Wilson probably thought Vargas could handle a guy hitting .120 and a guy hitting .190, and probably wanted to save Brash for the top of the lineup. I guess Wilson was wrong, but to be fair, Vargas very much should have been able to handle those guys, he just blew it.

If I remember correctly, Vargas has had a couple of these clunkers recently. Of course in typical M's fashion, they walk guys on a team that doesn't draw walks.

Another home series loss. Would be nice if they could learn to win at home.

Oh, I was straight up disgusted, but not surprised. Just Jerry doing Jerry things. Pretty typical.

DiBozo the reminds me a lot of the guy he replaced in Jack Z. Both these guys love dumpster diving. Bavasi before him was just a moron. The M's haven't had competent front office leadership since Gillick & Woody Woodward at the END of his tenure was not too bad.

April was fun while it lasted, but that's quite a ways in the rear view at this point.

It's starting to look like last year except with a worse bullpen and worse starting pitching. Another horribly botched off season is once again going to haunt this team (and the fans).

Looks like a .500 team at best to me. Unless Cal misses significant time. If that happens this team will easily lose 90 games.

It was just everything: the money-side, the $7 dollar small cup of beer and so on.

I watch on TV.

Arozarena is so bad at the plate. Julio is so easy to get out, he literally has no plan at the plate except for flailing away wildly at the first pitch. Anyone who gets ahead on a 2 strike count & doesn't get him out, should be banned from baseball.

I've said it before: Julio has just never been the same since kicking ass at the HR derby 2 years ago but losing to Soto who took advantage of Julio running out of steam late.
