Trading up for Mahomes is one of those ideas that is obvious in hindsight, but I guarantee that nearly this entire board would have been dead set against it at the time, as it always is in regards to trade ups. If somebody had started a thread predraft suggesting trading into the top 10 for him, they would have been absolutely eviscerated.

I don't look at Mahomes as a missed opportunity for this team. You just never know if it would have even been possible, so hard to say, "we should have". Now trading back while TJ Watt is sitting right there, all the while pass rush is what you're desperately looking for, now that was a blown opportunity imo.
