That's right! We're officially 99 days away from the Seahawks first game of the year, September 12th at Indianapolis. We didn't have a countdown last year, since we weren't even sure we'd have a season. So, lets celebrate doubly so, with 2 pictures per day this year, starting at #99:

#94 Chad Brown

Little story I'll share about Chad Brown on #94 day.
It was Seahawks training camp, August 1999. Young Jerhawk goes to see his favorite team in action out in Cheney. I really liked Chad Brown for some reason. It's tough to say why as a kid I liked him so much, but he was right up there with Springs and Kitna.

So I'm standing at the fence waiting for the players to walk out onto the practice field. Chad Brown is near the back of the wave of players.
"Chad! Hi Chad!" Screams chubby little 9 year old boy (me).

He looks at me, let's out a growl, and hocks a big loogie right at my feet.
And he says the nicest thing a Seahawk player has ever said to me other than Hasselebeck: "Ugh. Ugh huh."

He keeps walking, raises his helmet into the air and lets out a triumphant battle cry.
It was amazing. What a warrior. My hero.
