Moon to Galloway still stands as one of my most favorite pairings (QB to WR). Talk about a “Moon Ball”. He had a fantastic deep ball and of course Galloway was the fastest player in the NFL. If rumor stands, he had 4.1 40 speed. Insane. One of the few bright moments of the late 90’s.

Hence my “Got Galloway?” Shirts I sold back then. 😂

I'm old.
We're just one day away from Seahawks football, and I will always associate Seahawks uniform number 1 with Efren Herrera.

Oooh oooh... edit! You've GOT to see this!
I found a video of Herrera highlights.
It reminds me of when I was growing up in Maine. I got to see the Seahawks when they were on Monday nights, and rarely, a Sunday game, and I saw highlights. So I saw some of these moments happen on nationally televised games, and I saw a lot of them in highlights on sports segments on news shows, or at halftime on Monday night. When I fell asleep before halftime on a Monday night and we knew there was stuff I'd want to see from the Seahawks game the day before, my dad would wake me up at halftime so I could watch the highlights before going to bed. Herrera showed up a lot in those highlights, and this video gives you a taste of why.

(Sigh) Another edit...
I had just pasted the link here so the forum software could embed the video, but because the video has NFL content, the NFL has blocked it from being shown embedded on sites other than YouTube, and not everyone sees the link in the stupid warning that gets displayed, but I don't want anyone to miss the Herrera highlights, so I'm gonna put the link here in eye-catching action green.
Click here to see the Efren Herrera highlights video on YouTube.

Thanks for the video link. That was awesome brought back some great memories. Efren Herrera was the most exciting kicker in Seahawks history. He could do it all. The Swiss Army knife of kickers. Extra point? Check. Field goal? Check. Fake field goal punt? Check. Fake field goal WR? Check. Make your own tackle on insides kick? Check. Every single time he lined up for a kick you wondered what would really happen.

Love is not the emotion Mirer provokes. Sets most rookie QB records until Andrew Luck came along, a hot dog, dissappointment, a surprise trade netting a 1st round pick eventually leading to Shawn Springs.

Is perplexing an emotion?
Tom Flores broke Rick Mirer.

Recover your own onside kick? Check.

I’m going to unstick this thread and want to thank each and every one of you who participated in this thread. It’s an age old tradition here that has lasted through the various changes of ownership. I look forward to it next year! Go Hawks!!

Ooh. Minor point: Do we get to post a pic of Tyrel Dodson tomorrow? 😀
Oddly enough, I’m not even sure he’s on the roster but NFL DOT COM has him listed w/o a #

Guess it can’t hurt to post the picture.
I’m sure someone smarter than myself will be along soon enough for correction if n/a

GoHawks
Beat some Donko ass.

Side note/question
Anyone remember DonkoSpurt & cinnamon gurl

Well, we're finally here. Seahawks football starts today! Zero days to go, and because uniform number 0 is now a thing in the NFL, this thread continues right up into the first day of the Seahawks season.

The "old-school" answer on this one is Devin Bush, by far the player who did the most on the field with Seahawks uniform number 0 in the history of the team. His 13 games, three games started, 250 defensive snaps, 138 special-teams snaps, 18 solo tackles, 19 assisted tackles, and five tackles for loss easily place him first in all those categories among all the players who have ever used Seahawks uniform number 0 in regular-season games.

Seahawks uniform number 0 is currently being used by Tyrel Dodson. Here's hoping some of Bush's uniform-number-0 records fall this season.

And we're here. After all the speculation and reading of preseason tea leaves, we're finally going to see the Macdonald Seahawks on the field doing everything they can to win a game (different from the preseason, when the team has other goals). A new era of Seahawks football begins today. May it be a long and successful one.

It was kind of cool to see Dodson showing up a lot on TV during the game on the same day he appeared in this thread. I haven't re-watched any of the game, but my impression during the game on Sunday was that he was actually playing pretty well.
