Thought he deserved some props stepping into LT versus a good defence. Didn't really notice him make any mistakes.

I wasn't really watching the line that much so if Fant came back then props to him. Either way I thought LT did well.

The only reason Fant is ahead of him is Odihambo's kick step is not a fluid as Fants but physically he had no issues handling his man.

Gilliam's block-out on the DE that sprung CJ's 72 yd TD was actually a beauty.

Gilliam had a good game today against pretty good competition. Given how well they appear to be gelling, I don't see any changes happening. Which means Sowell is heading to the bench, and Webb should get used to being inactive.

You and I must've been watching different guys today. I though Gilliam looked really good against some high end competition today.

I've been very critical of Gilliam but he did have a much better game today. It's hard to tell how much of the improvement is(for everyone not just Gary) on Wilsons health but I suspect they have gotten better for sure. They don't need to be great, just league average and this offense will be unstoppable.

Pete Carroll was happy with play of offensive line verses Eagles. He is confident they will continue to improve as a unit.

This is one of the best story lines coming out of the Eagles game. I am excited by Seattle playing a college tackle actually at tackle. I was (still am) worried about where our tackles are supposed to come from so Odhiambo showing potential is fantastic news.

Strange thing about the offensive line. Often the most important thing you can do is let them play together. Even the "best" O-linemen take a little time to blend in witht their fellows in this, the one unit on the team where cooperation and mutual skills and experience are most important.

We have 5 or 6 very young guys that look like they are starting to gel into a decent unit. They may never be the "best" OL in the league, but perhaps we don't need the best. In the salary cap era, we can't be the best everywhere.

Have to give it to the O line today.

This was a great test for the o line. A talented defensive front. Really it was a litmus test game for that unit.

The fact that they went largely unnoticed is a very strong positive. There were far fewer lost one on one battles that really there should have been. I know that Glowinski had a couple of glaring losses. But to be honest, that really should have been expected given the competition.

Overall, I got a very real sense that the O line is taking shape quite nicely. It's a really strong sign for me, because I felt going into this stretch run, that we should start to get a good feel for how the talent on the line should shake out going forward.

This is a unit with good talent but raw, young talent. The fact that they've been rounding into form to me indicates that the long play strategy of building cohesion with youth is starting to bear fruit.

Agreed. How clutch would that be if we got good play from 3 rookies on the Offensive Line? I would take back all the bad things I said about Cable and the FO's ability to draft linemen. That being said, it's still a big if. And IMO Ifedi has much to improve upon. I'm pulling for the kid, though.

If Odhiambo unseats Gilliam we'd have 3 rookies, a 2nd year guy in Glowinski and a 3rd year guy in Britt. Could be the makings of a good line for years to come.
