Looks like Idzik thought enough of him to bring him on board in NY. I always liked him as a depth guy, but his salary was just too high for the role we had him in. Wish him the best of luck there, he's gonna need it

Obomanu (6'1", 204 / Auburn / Selma, AL) entered the NFL as a seventh-round pick by Seattle in the 2006 draft. He played six seasons for the Seahawks before he was released March 17. For his career, he has appeared in 66 games and has logged 87 receptions for 1,209 yards with seven touchdowns. In 2012, he played in eight games and caught four passes for 58 yards.

I always liked Ben, like kid said, as a depth guy. Never a superstar, but brought his lunch pail to work every day. He had a few big plays in his days as a Hawk and did a lot of fill in work.

I always liked seeing Ben make the squad "against all odds" each year. He becomes the #2 there in my mind. I hope Geno wins the job and can at least be Josh Freeman.
