Nick Gates - Center - Road Grader

Hey 12's,

I don't know if we have scouted Nick Gates much, but he is a bad ass center. A Pete and John type of player.
Very athletic, smart, and he would definitely fill the Center / Guard void. And flexible enough to play Tight End. He had a major injury, but has healed is doing very well now. He would be worth taking a look before someone else snags him.

He is actually 6' 5" Yes a bit tall. However, very smart and generally wins position battles where ever lined up. I can see us going for a rook, however, I think a veteran being the qb of the line would be best for the team.

Well Washington just signed him. Evidently they had a better scouting report on him after playing him twice a year. Giants also offered a deal. He would have been a great fit for us. Oh well.
