Someone needs to tell Patrick Peterson to research his BS excuses a little more thoroughly. Type one diabetes isn't the type that you can reverse. I wonder what his excuse at the end of next season will be for sucking again?

The not so good:
2. The Colin-Kaepernick-Torrey-Smith connection. Smith keeps getting open during team drills and Kaepernick keeps missing him. Today Smith ran a drag route and Kaepernick threw the ball behind him. Then Smith ran another drag route and Kaepernick threw the ball too far in front of him. Finally, Kaepernick threw a deep pass to Smith, who was open – he had beaten Shareece Wright by a step or two. Offensive coordinator Geep Chryst and Steve Logan both muttered, “We’ve got it!” when Kaepernick released the ball. But the pass landed well short. Kaepernick threw off his back foot. Smith had no chance

TE Vance McDonald. Caught zero passes during team drills. On one play he ran a seam route down the middle of the field and no one covered him – the defense messed up. Kaepernick saw McDonald wide open and threw him the ball. McDonald reached out and let the pass fly right through his hands.

Sounds like a QB competition might be brewing at this rate!!! :stirthepot:

However it sounds like the CB's today had a great day with multiple interceptions and only one touchdown for the offense tonight.

If that holds it will be for a QB getting released from somewhere else.

Oh Grant...he can always be counted on.

No mention of the 2 TDs Kap thew or the long receptions by Torrey the past two practices. Nope. Kap sucks.

Precisely the reason you should never read an article written by Grant or Lowell Kohn.

I'm sure it'll take time for Torrey and Kap to get in sync. Maybe Kap is just incapable of being a good deep ball thrower. I won't say that's not possible...

...but I can't guarantee you I will not take Grant Cohns word for it. He's Skip Bayless with far less talent....and no, I don't think Skip has any talent. All he does is troll for attention.

Cardinals already down to 4th string RB

Darren Urban ‏@Cardschatter
T D.J. Humphries had to leave practice, limping off. And RB Marion Grice also heads to locker room. #CardsCamp

2nd year that our 1st Rnd pick O-lineman has gotten injured. Hopefully none of these are serious.

Seriously, what is Arians doing wrong? You guys can't escape injury under him. At some point, you have to consider it a symptom.

Folks, I'm not a doctor. I just relayed what Peterson said. Do not know details of his diabetes. Do know he looks much better than 2014.

Patrick Peterson expects to have a much better year than last year when struggling with his blood sugar levels. It was addressed this offseason. Could explain some of the decrease in performance (But not all)

@Ringless, got to give you props for the fun idea. Keep up the good work guys.

Also, isn't it fun to only be worried about first world problems? Appreciate it 12's because EVERYTHING ends at some point and it happens overnight in the NFL.

Well since we didn't get any 49er updates today I figured I would step in and give us this golden nugget from SF.

"Turf Troubles Another big story that is gaining a lot of traction was the poor condition of the field as practice went on. Numerous beat writers pointed out the issue, which the 49ers had to deal with last season. The team is scheduled to have their first eight practices at Levi's Stadium. Head coach Jim Tomsula said after tonight's practice that he expects to practice at Levi's Stadium again tomorrow, but may move if the sod on the field is not safe. - See more at: http://www.49erswebzone.com/news/83655- ... 8NHiP.dpuf

In addition, Dockett who was cleared to practice late last week was held out of practice.. I just don't see how he is going to end up being an effective replacement for Cowboy. I also wonder if he was held out because the Sod fell apart before all the players even got on the field for practice?

The grass thing is getting tiresome. They will resod 7 or 8 times this year, but this is really getting old.

As for Dockett, they also held out Reggie Bush. They are being careful with vets. As for him replacing Justin? I don't think THATS really the plan. He'll be in the rotation, but Dorsey will likely play more snaps at RDE than Dockett.
I thought they had this grass problem solved??? Not good when they will be hosting a Super Bowl.
Well, at least it will get a break during the playoffs.
