Schotty would be at thebtop of my list. Not crazy about Doug for some of the fairly large leadershio blindspots he seems to have..
Engstrand is a hot name but has zero wxperience coordinating. McDaniel is interestung but wiukd be gone right away if he was any good and is too similar to Mac in that he's a young talented coach. Chip Kelly - we have done the college thing already.
McCown could be interesting but like Engstrand, hasnt done it before. Same with Peetz. But i think Peetz has the inside track out of the gate.
McCown, from what I've heard, was treated as an additional coach when he was a back up QB. Approachable, smart, and solid leadership skills. In Minnesota, he ain't calling plays but supposedly he is an icon in that locker room and that could be good to bring in for a team to bring the offensive together.
Engstrand is the hot name, no coordinating experience, but from a stellar offensive team and has plenty of NFL experience. I'd take a flier on him over a lot of the other candidates.
Peetz is from the McVay tree and has total 15 years NFL experience in coaching, apparently a couple years ago his name was rising up as a possible future OC candidate and since he's already on the team is the most likely option.
The others were just names that could be brought in but I agree that McDaniel if he were to succeed would be gone the very next year, Pederson is much older and the tread could be gone (but less likely to get poached), Schotty could be stable though likely unstrellar and Kelly, eh, no harm talking to him.
I agree thought that the list is unknowns or have no game calling experience or retreads, but I think these are viable/reasonable options to get as I doubt Seattle is gonna poach a Top 3 OC to lateral over from whatever team they're currently winning with.
