His name hasn't been mentioned at all, so he is likely not in the hunt. I feel that he would be an interesting wildcard. This is why:
  1. The coming-of-age thing. He is valued at $160 billion and growing fast. But he lacks name recognition with the general public; owning a sports team, especially a high-profile NFL team, will help towards that.
  2. The PNW connection. He went to Oregon State for his undergraduate.
  3. With $160b, no problem in buying.
  4. He is also too busy to mess with football decisions.
A bit about the dude:

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang utilizes an intensely hands-on, transparent, and "founder-mode" management style characterized by extreme directness, a flat organizational structure with 60+ direct reports, and a preference for group problem-solving over one-on-one meetings. He fosters a "no task is beneath me" culture, emphasizing speed, high-stakes risk-taking, and constant communication via daily, concise emails.

Key aspects of Huang's leadership include:
Flat Structure & Extreme Delegation: Instead of traditional management layers, Huang has roughly 60 direct reports, aiming to keep himself accessible and information flowing freely throughout the company.

"No 1-on-1s" Rule: He dislikes private meetings, preferring to address issues with groups to ensure shared context and foster collective accountability.

Transparent Communication: Huang famously requests employees email him their top five priorities weekly, allowing him to stay connected to the pulse of the company.

Direct & Constructive Feedback: He is known for giving direct feedback in front of peers, believing that public, transparent discussions accelerate learning and decision-making.

High-Pressure, High-Purpose Culture: He pushes for "pain and suffering" to achieve great things, believing that intense focus and determination can drive employees to exceed expectations.

Strategic Adaptability: He encourages an "ongoing" planning process rather than rigid long-term plans, enabling NVIDIA to adapt quickly to new technological landscapes.

Fortune

Huang’s leadership is often described as obsessive, and he often takes a hands-on approach to both strategic planning and daily operational tasks.

I prefer the 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' approach.
Whomever does purchase the Seahawks will already have been dealt a winning hand, some minor tweaking is to be expected with the shiny new toy though, eh?

He has donated a shit-ton to OSU academics - but doesn't donate to OSU sports from what I know. So it would appear that sports are not really in his wheelhouse.

As an aside - as a fellow OSU grad - he hasn't sent me any checks either.

The fact that you think OSU or O State refers to the Beavers from Timbuktu, that's priceless right there.

Apparently his email is public. I was about to email him directly to intervene if Zuckerberg was under serious consideration.
