Yeah I trust Macdonald to do what's best for the team. I still think Grubb can be a really good OC in the right place and was curious to see how he adapted with a full off season but you can't blame the coach either for just wanting to move on. The Baltimore system is a run first system and I think Mike wants to build his team around defense and the running game. The tricky part is you don't have a running quarterback like Lamar but we will see what they do.

Mike and JS probably gonna wait till after a round or two of the playoffs for an offensive coach.

Unless the relationship between Grubb and Mcdonald became really bad I highly doubt they would immediately fire him.
They have an evaluation period after each year. I imagine that is when those things are decided.
Personally I think he gets another year and I have no problem with it.
Well, guess I was wrong! I'm sure they have someone in mind. If they felt it wasn't a match that makes sense.

Coach is all about the trenches. Time to get a coordinator who adjusts, has a more balanced attack and isn't so damn pass happy.

Yup. It's all opinions and speculation, not facts. That's what makes it fun. Sometimes, it's just fun to go look at predictions and see how they turn out. Shoot, laughing at your own is fun too.

Maybe I'll start saying "Geno isn't going anywhere, facts"

and then it'll happen

People have to have a scapegoat and a place to congregate with their torches and pitchforks, it happens EVERY year! Somebody's head needs to roll and it's just an outlier to our society today.
Damn Seahawks Society...

Hopefully not reinventing the offensive wheel, this seems like they already have someone in mind, perhaps even in house? Or, they’re going with a new QB as well.

It does not matter who the next Offensive Coordinator is if we don’t fix the offensive line

This sure seems like a cover my a$$ move by Schneider to place blame on someone else for his failures to build an adequate offensive line

Remember Schneider’s comments that interior offensive lineman are over rated. That opinion by JS has us year after year after year having a sub par line

I suspects Jake Peets I hope I spelled his name correctly. MM talks glowingly about him

Would love to see Brian Schottenheimer (complete with Solari) and Chip Kelly interviewed. Two guys who are proven to both elevate quarterbacks AND pound the rock.

I'll be good with whatever guy Mike chooses. He knows what he's doing. Def. want someone who wants to pound the rock.

Pete got sent packing, I'm still laughing.
Brand new coach has 9, possibly 10 wins. Pete was 7-9 his first 2 seasons. And how about his playoff record after our 2nd SB?
Pete took over a five win team while McDonald took over a team coming off back to back winning seasons. Enormous difference

Like fine wine
Oh look at all the monday morning QBs coming out of the wood work so proud of yourselves. While your highlighting folks posts here's a little food for thought, is our offense having 2 offensive coordinators in 2 years a good thing. Enjoy watching your offense start from scratch. I think it's a dumb move, Macdonald must have his reasons, guess we'll see how it works out.

I'd be cool with, to interview at least; Brian Schottenheimer, Chip Kelly, Jake Peetz (currently with team and apparently gets along well with Mike), Josh McCown, Mike McDaniel (if fired by Dolphins), Tanner Engstrand, and if he doesn't retire, Doug Pederson.
