Everybody loves the returners, but does anybody remember the last time we had a return called back because of a penalty? There's some world class coaching going on with our special teams. The fastest guy in the world still needs a crease to run through, and our guys are pretty good at opening them up.

That's really a great point. It's so common and easy to draw a flag which is why so many returns in the league are brought back. That's a combination of excellent coaching and execution.

I think it's notable that players want to play Special Teams for the Seahawks....

Horton and Shaheed could play WR only on most teams and avoid risk of injury, play longer possibly. Bobo, another highpoint: out there blocking and tackling on ST and taking pride in it. To be completely frank, it was realistically the difference in getting a 2nd contract.

Backups and UDFAs will need to compete for a spot on ST this off-season. How crazy is that? The starting RB may not be good enough to get on the field, even if they want to, for kickoffs....

ST culture has changed in the last 2 seasons. ST wins games. It's a privilege to play. I'd expect, this off season, there will be multiple UDFAs that are motivated to be part of that culture, win a SB and follow Bobo's example toward a 2nd payday.

Agree with everyone. The difference is huge in field position, momentum and ultimately points . JS/MM get it.

Didn't some if you want "Harbs" fired ?
