Pure speculation here as I don’t feel that comfortable with Myers at this point being consistent enough and making the big kick.Would you think there’s even the slightest chance that the Seahawks switch him out for a guy like Justin Tucker who is due to come off of suspension in a few weeks? Tucker was not great last year, but I’m sure his situation affected his play. Just thinking how he would do especially with this new kicking ball.

Can't lie, starting to get a little worried about the guy. He's not horrible, but he's certainly not $.

It's Odd Year Myers. People act as if this hasn't been his MO for his entire career.

That being said, the blocked kick was not on him. Launch angle was fine. Center allowed the defender to elevate and block the kick.

Agreed he isn't amazing and we are overpaying him.
Someone will pay Tucker, if we got him we would have ovewr $10m of cap used on kickers, and I wouldn't like him on our team for character reasons.
I am all for cutting Myers at the end of the season.

It's funny someone brought this up. I was JUST thinking earlier that we're 5-2 now, and team chemistry has been fantastic. What better way to go all-in and REALLY put us over the top than to cut one of our longest-tenured players and replace him with a serial sexual predator? If the Cleveland Browns have taught us nothing, it's that teams rally around horrific PR and media distractions! And on top of that, Tucker was complete ass last year and probably would have been cut even without the off-field stuff, so we know he's due for a huge bounceback!

Anyone want to keep rolling with Myers? He’s a great kicker in non-pressure situations, but very rarely makes the big kick. Also doesn’t have the leg strength of some of the better kickers in the league.

I would take Justin Tucker replacing him in a second!

Why didn't we let Drew lock qb the last⁰quarter?

I don't think the coaches are going to come out of a game where the QB threw 4 interceptions, and fire the kicker who missed a difficult field goal. Feels like scapegoating, and not the message you'd want to send to players.

This thread was composed before today, which actually makes it worse.

Also, I feel like I'm losing my mind being the only person who seems to have a problem with the part where the guy OP wants to bring in is a serial sexual predator.

For people to put this loss on Myers is kinda harsh. How about the hold on KW touchdown?
The four interceptions?

I'm fine with Myers. I can't hold missing a 60-yarder against him. The missed extra points a couple of years ago were much more troubling.

Kubiak went away from the run for a while there at the worst time. I'd put more on him than Myers.

LA's D is better than many of us thought it is.
