1. So an early strike to Moore that looked like pitch and catch and then don't go back to that well again?. Probably would have been better to try than one of the forty Carson fall downs.

2. I think it's time for Griffin to follow premier receivers every game. Flowers on Thomas looked like Simon on Edelman, just like an invisible man out there getting completely owned. I remember later in the game Griffin defended a pass on Thomas perfectly, so it's time to have him shadow any premiere wideouts just like Sherm did on OBJ. Even the quick strike touchdown, flowers is playing a half yard too deep because he knows he is going to get beat on anything over the top. Problem is the over top throw is much lower percentage and you have to force that and defend the one yard screen at all costs.... DUH.

Bonus takeaway... Almost every single PC football game i can remember that involves major special teams failures, ie, turnovers, returns for td against us, etc, we lose. Pete plays tight to the vest and it makes overcoming ANY unforeseen ST errors extremely difficult, if not basically impossible.

Russ could have spent all day trying to go back to it, and all you would ever see is quick, almost too-subtle-to-catch glances in his direction on Russ's part before he sees Moore covered and goes elsewhere. Intent isn't the same as results.

Have to agree with this. Moore does seem to not get open as much as he should.
