For those of you calling out Robert Turbin for being "unreliable" now, I expect the same to be said about Russell Wilson. Because they were both equally horrible. They both turned the ball over. Except Turbin was being asked to play a position that didn't fit his style of play. And that "ball security" quote by PC is bullshit. You want ball security on a kickoff then let the ball bounce through the endzone or kneel it no matter where they are at in the endzone. But yet you didn't see them yelling at Turbin every time he took it out from 5 yards deep. Turbin has been reliable all year and one fumble in a position he is not supposed to be in does not change that in my eyes. Unspectacular, most certainly. But most likely they knew that when they drafted him that they weren't getting Chris Johnson.

Our WR's couldn't get any separation all day, speaking of unspectacular. Ricardo Lockette ran the cleanest route and catch all day, and then was promptly pulled. What? I get the whole starter concept, but at that point when you have scored 3 points all game, maybe its time to change it up. Watching Baldwin return those kicks, I'm thinking damn this dudes fast, but then watching him run routes I sometimes think Michael Robinson could run them faster. Sure, they are clean, sharp breaking routes. But is takes SO DAMN LONG for him to get anywhere. Tate's hands seem to be progressively getting worse, even before he started shaking his hand. So maybe now if it is an actual injury itll be more like 4 drops a game instead of 2. Kearse makes great catches but to some point his lack of speed and agility make the catches harder then they should be.

At one point of the game, I saw a play with routes I have never seen nor ever wanted to see. Baldwin and Kearse started out running a streak, then stopped right in the outside CB's zone, turned, floated right in the zone. Does Darell Bevell not understand zone coverages? Or did our wide recievers suddenly forget how to get open while Russell Wilson is working his magic? And was it just me or was Russell Wilson always rolling out to the wrong side of the field? I remember one play where he rolled out left and Zach Miller, and 2 wide outs are on the completely opposite side of the field. If that's by design, sure, but he didn't even look their way.

Our CB's were pretty good all day, I give props to Maxwell, he played that touchdown throw perfectly, the WR just made an awesome catch. PC did have a great game plan on defense, knowing Palmer likes to laser passes down the middle so he had the linebackers float and swat passes, which led to Malcom Smith's interception and closed various favorite passing lanes of Carson Palmer. Missed tackles seemed like a problem though, I saw a couple linebackers just bounce off running backs, and Chancellor had a couple whiffs. Was it just me or was Earl Thomas down in the box more this game then ever before? Kam also lined up in a true cover 2, I hadn't seen that consistently for a while.

As for the offensive gameplan, I'm not really sure how to judge it. Russell Wilson had happy feet from snap #1, and anytime he starts freaking out and trying to juke through everyone back there, the play is basically blown unless he pulls a miracle, which he sometimes does. But he just made it a hell of a lot harder on himself. The part I really had a problem with is when we were only down three PC or DB deems that panic time to start chucking it down the field.

I am tired of being reminded that Max Unger is a "pro bowl" caliber center. At this moment in time, I couldn't call BS any louder about anyone on the field. He is constantly getting manhandled. He may have been at one time, he might still be, but is being bugged by some unknown injury, but I don't really care anymore. He is performing at a level below what Lemuel Jeanpierre has shown us this year. Replace him. Either until he recovers or until Jeanpierre proves he is a better long term option. Paul McQ can play every position on the line while picking his nose and singing dixie. Cool, I get it. But he can't do any of those well. I'd rather have a solid guard that is terrible at tackle, then a semi competent lineman who can be a turnstile at every position. Bowie seemed serviceable and on a couple plays I even saw him getting a good chip on Ungers man as well. If you watch closely in the 2nd Quarter Giacomini basically punches a defensive end in the nuts. He didn't seem to be a factor after that so to each his own. I would rather sit Okung for the year than have to draft another star left tackle because his toe in the long run wont quit acting up. It seemed to be bugging him all game.

Russell was not good, and it was not a good throw, but really, he did not turn the ball over. Horrible call.

So, we should stop whining about players we don't care for and whine about players you don't like?

OK, I got it.

Something that cannot be described as "indisputable" will never be a truly terrible call in my eyes. Dubious and improbable, sure. But still slightly questionable. RW threw 2 other passes that should have been picks as well.

Please tell me where I insinuated that I wished to take away people's freedom of speech to whine about who they seemed fit. I was simply defending a player I see as unjustly judged, and pointing out players I had issues with. This is not ground breaking nor deserved a personal jab?

Wow, it is refreshing to see a logical post on this web site for once. I am sure people will call you out for putting any blame on Russell but your post is 100% accurate.

Yesterday was a storm of bad by the offense. RW, WRs, O Line, Bevell all were equally as bad. RW made some terrible decisions (not picking up the 1st down at the end of the first half on the 3rd and 1), WRs got 0 seperation and dropped a bunch of passes, O Line wasn't completely awful but it isn't what we would expect from a nearly 100% healthy Oline, and Bevell had his vintage "this isn't working but we are going to keep doing it anyways" kind of playcalling days.

This game really changed my opinions on our WRs in their current state. I thought going into this game they were seriously underrated, now I just think they are what they are on paper. A servicable corps who will struggle against elite defenses. We really need a true #1 reciever, to at least put some pressure on defenses to focus on him.

I still think this team gets the #1 seed and makes the Super Bowl but yesterday raised a lot of eyebrows. More so yesterday than our other 2 losses I think Arizona layed out the blueprint on how to beat us. Bottom line is we NEED to get the running game going again or else we might not even make the SB.

Turbin has not had a good year. Russell Wilson was borderline MVP before the 9ers game.

No he wasn't. Peyton Manning has had the MVP all year in a landslide. Sure ESPN had RW at #2 in the MVP rankings some weeks but it was a very distant #2. Only complete homers think he had an outside shot of passing up Manning who broke the TD record and most likely break the yards record this week.

He wasn't borderline though, sure maybe in another year without Peyton Manning in it he could have been considered this I will agree with that.

What Manning is doing has no bearing on Russell's season. He is an MVP candidate who had a bad game.

He also doesn't have an O line like Denver or weapons like Denver at his disposal.

The third and long as has been explained was on the Ref for signaling 1st down and then changing it without notifying anyone. The same ref that overturned the incomplete pass to a pick at the end, and made most of the bad calls by the way.

The issue was the wr and te were not moving with Rw when he rolled out or scrambled, they were standing still most of the time. The rule is when your QB roles out or scrambles you move with him so he can see you, but they did not. As to not looking their way you do not throw across the field on the run, bug no no.

These ref mistakes are amplified when your O can't do anything right. Disappointing. I was screaming at the TV all day.
