He isn't a great WR overall. That's why he is a free agent signing for 5.5 mill tops.
He does bring what this team really needs though and that's size with elite speed.
He isn't DK but that's fine. Safeties will have to account for him and that's important.
Not if he can't catch. His career catch rate percentage tells me he struggles in that dept. He's got a catch pct of 49.5%

I would have rather kept Locket. Too bad he didn't agree to a paycut.

There was good moments in GB with him but never really all came together. Not a bad WR3 I guess.

Instead of Always Settle, it would appear we're back to Always Compete. Interesting how fast things have changed.

Your right his hands are bad. He drops passes. Safeties are still going to account for him though.
He is very fast with good size and a good run blocker. That's his qualities.
No team is going to say hey guys MVS drops balls let's just ignore his deep ball threat. Doesn't work like that. His speed has to be accounted for regardless of his hands.

Dareke Young has always been intriguing and is a big bodied receiver, a bigger target with the ability to stretch the field yet hasn’t had the opportunity due to a stacked wr room. I feel like he could fit with Darnold throwing dots

I look forward to seeing it. I'm skeptical of course :)

Sorry if I'm not doing back flips and popping corks over signing MVS, but I really don't think "meh, he's fine" is an egregiously negative opinion. I didn't say I hated it. I didn't even say I didn't like it. I said it's fine. You're acting like we made a huge move for a massively impactful player and everyone is shitting all over the move for no other reason than "hating" or whatever. That isn't what's happening. The dude is a mediocre 30 year old journeyman receiver. Again, it's fine. But by all means, throw a parade if want. You do you.

Shoot, I didn't want to spell his name out on my computer, with the name in front of me :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Like the Niners releasing Juice Check. Close enough :)

Hey, I get it. Just having some fun with you that's all ✌️

Also, where did I say it was a huge move? Not even close. A WR added when we needed one. Low risk deal, not a huge price tag.
Geezus man, are you really this touchy? A parade? I never once said it was a great signing. They needed a vet WR, they got one.
I just laugh at the doom and gloom no matter what the team does. Again, not EVERY signing has to be a massive splash.

I give up.

Go Hawks

I'd say mediocre WR is generous. His value lies in his deep threat helping JSN and our run game. Keeping the safeties from creeping up too much.

And again, where are you seeing doom and gloom regarding MVS?

I didn't say you said it was a huge move, but you're accusing everyone that isn't like "great move guys" of just being whiners and I don't think that's the case at all. "It's fine" seems like a perfectly reasonable opinion to me.

Agreed. What's even more alarming that his catch rate pct is under 50% given the type of QBs he's played with in his career - It's been Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, and Derek Carr. But yes, he will be a great decoy with his speed. The second coming of Renaldo Nehemiah.
