Even with Percy at 100 percent his role of 3rd down safety blanket was still there, even more so with miller hurting

He is a RFA after the season.. One player received an offer last year, Sanders from PIT and they matched NE's offer.

Baldwin will be a Seahawk at least 2 more years unless someone offers a 3rd IMO.

And he was undrafted. Suck it Harbaugh

Haha every thread is about the 49ers/Harbaugh. I am sure Jim is very happy for Baldwin.

Your street cred goes up 10pts if you take a swipe at the folks from the Bay area. Just cannot help it, like shooting fish in a barrel. Never understood why I would want to shoot fish in a barrel, but that is another story.

Yes...because if you miss, doesn't it put a hole in the barrel??

A vexing dilemma.

His cost in relation to his production is SO valuable. And, I've said it already a few times, Baldwin's going to put this "oft injured" label to rest. Last year was a fluke.

He is probably worth a 5th or so with not being very productive last year and being in a contract year and all.

So, multiple teams were interested. Just NOT interested in offering up fair compensation.

a 5th? yeah he came off an injury filled season, but a year ago he led the team is receptions and yards...more than a 5th...plus he comes cheap and you get him for this year and next?? late 2nd or early 3rd round easily.

That being said I still wouldn't make the trade. Not this year at least. We need quality depth and every position this year. That's what championship teams always have b/c injuries are a part of the game. God I can't wait for football...or at least madden. GIVE ME SOMETHING TO DO!

A late 2nd round pick for a player who had 350 yards last season and will be a free agent next year? No way lol. Not disputing his good rookie season but last year was disappointing and he played in 14 games. He isn't worth more than a 5th.

Davone Bess had 61 catches 778 yards last year and fetched a fourth and a seventh rounder.

I tried it once. No skill involved... and it's kinda messy. And REALLY LOUD, cuz it echoes.

Apparently there are a lot of smart GMs out there who can recognize an opportunity for a good player at a potential bargain price.

Looks like Seattle won't have much trouble baiting teams into trade talks with a 2nd round RFA tag next offseason, which is a good thing.

Actually, that drains the water, making the fish easier to shoot and the ones you miss still die anyways.
