I wasn’t trying to be a downer. I thought we lost the series to KC. But don’t they still own tie breaker over us?

Weirdly if twins lose both games tomorrow, Detroit loses and we win it would be a three way tie.

I’m not surprised M’s are making a push, they play their best ball with little to no expectations.

Yep. It's been a long shot for awhile now, but that one feels like the final nail in the coffin. A loss like that at this point has to be pretty demoralizing for the team too. It wouldn't be very surprising if they don't put up much of fight in Houston.

If the Mariners didn’t blow that 8-0 lead to KC earlier this season, they would have made the playoffs.
