I know we dominated the Niners recently.. but this was Drew freaking Brees. No Browner. No Thurmond. Wilson 300+ yards passing. Drew Brees ..

147

Many of which in garbage time.

147!!

I think the offense really let down after halfway the 3rd quarter and never got back on track

This was the 2013 version of 42-13. Under the lights. Two CB suspensions served/looming. Against a consensus top team. Rainy.

Complete and utter domination.

Offense felt flat in the second half, Saints actually did a fantastic job adjusting at halftime IMO.

I'd say this is the most complete game in the Carroll era.

Could've gotten Lynch going a bit more, but Saints were selling out to stop the run.

The offense had a TD drive in the 3rd quarter and stopped trying in the 4th. I disagree that they were shut down. Slowed down, maybe.

I'd say so. The 42-13 game was more of a "Hey, pay attention, we're putting something together" game, and this was a "Yeah, we are that good. When do we book our flight to NJ?" game. This was a game that was going to answer a lot of questions one way or another, and it put a lot of people in their place. No more questions about this team, they are that good and should be expected to play in the Super Bowl. You can't argue that after tonight.

Absolutely. And this type of performance gets in another teams' head. If they book a flight back to Seattle, they're going to press.

The Clink + nationally televised game = black hole for any team.

Loved the win and everything about it, but man I would have loved to have seen us do a slightly better job on offense in the second half.

The Saints are a top flight team----and they were manhandled tonight. And on a pretty big stage to boot. Very impressive win by our Seahawks.

1-0.

On to the next week's opponent.

Really!?, I thought that the only points they scored were in the first half :)
What ever half time adjustments the Saints made, seemed to be nullified by the Adjustments that the Seahawks made.

The hawks were not trying to score points in the second half. They were trying to control the clock and win the game. The offense didn't fall flat, they controlled the game.
