I was a little disappointed with our running game. We never did get it going.

I was too, but NO was not going to let Marshawn beat them, they didn't want another embarrassing break away run like 2010. But overall, the run game did it's job.

I agree, Dawg. Saints gameplan looked as if it was "STOP LYNCH". They seemed to forget the other 10 guys are pretty good, too.

Exactly, the team had 127 yes rushing total, so it was a good night even tho Marshawn didn't get a lot of yds. I'm sure he isn't complaining one bit

There's been several games, including the last two games against the Niners and the road win against the Falcons, that I'd put in this category. But it came at the best time, at a time when we have a chance to take HFA and force the road to the SB to come through Seattle.

We have had a lot of complete games. Many more complete than this one. I think our defense and passing game looked very good.

Some folks were saying the offense sputtered midway through the 3rd, but Pete took his foot off the gas.

We were running into obvious run fronts and run blitzes. We only threw to get 1st downs on 3rd down, and we still moved the ball.

People don't realize, Pete isn't going to try to ring up 50 on people, unless the other team is scoring a lot as well. With the way our defense was playing, we'd won after we got to 24 points, but you have to make sure against the Saints.
