It depends on what you mean by "fix." If Payton installs what Wilson fans around here derided as "Pete-ball" (the correct name would have been "Russ-ball," because it was the system Carroll created to get the most out of Wilson's strengths while minimizing the impact of his limitations), then there's no reason to believe the Broncos can't get decent production out of the offense. The question then is whether Wilson will start to chafe under the not-letting-Russ-"cook" rules and get angry about Carroll having been right all along about not letting him "cook."
