JS needs to start working the trades now. He is going to have a huge year, and would fit perfectly into Grubbs offense

I wasn't that impressed with him last year but could see him take a step under DeBoer

I'm not so sure about him yet.
I mean he has 5 star everything around him.

The one QB that I am keeping my eye on this year is Nico Iamaleava with Tennessee. He is technically a freshman but is 20 years old so 2 years out of high school which would make him eligible for the NFL draft if he want to leave for the NFL

Bama just fell apart on O and D. What a crazy game. Beck has talent, but makes a lot of questionable throws that cost UGA the game. I can’t believe someone is going to pick him in the top 10.

Any QB being media hyped is going in the first round.

No QB this year makes me feel good. All have big warts to their game
Which is why I'm a proponent of building a team from the inside out and adding a veteran QB who was drafted high but in a bad situation.
We're seeing it more often. A guy like Bryce Young will probably be available in a couple of years . (Example)
Drafted 1st overall into a shit show of an organization, hung out to dry and given up on.

Will be interesting to see what they could do with Sam Howell if they coach the picks out of him. Issue being his rookie contract will run down eventually. I can see us taking Anthony Richardson if/when the colts eventually cut him and try improve him.

Bryce is not one of the examples I'd want and AR as well.. Some QBs are busts
no matter what, it's like putting lipstick on a pig.
TBF to AR he hasn't had many games and that's counting HS.. I just think it's
an ongoing thing with him and lack of games.

Hence I said "example".

There are many more I could've used but he came to mind. I think he could actually perform in the right situation, he has natural skill , pedigree by playing for a huge program. He might just not have the "it" factor.

I understand "example" and I provided an opinion on that.
A lot of QBs - Their max level is college and that's it.
Big schools and good QBs in/was of the NFL off the top of my head:
USC- Carson Palmer /Michigan-Harabaugh and Brady / Alabama-
Starr, Namath, Hurts ? (Ha Ha) Ohio State- Stroud and who else?
The media will harp and harp yet where's the beef at the next level?

It's a complete gamble . I think that people equate big time program = NFL success.

Most all of these guys fail.

I know a lot of people here clamour for a QBOTF and I can't understand why.Maybe they think " if we only use a top 10 pick and get the golden child " it will automatically translate into Lombardis
