I never could find out what happened to Mebane against the Rams other than "hip injury". Anyone have any further detail? I assume he'll be back for this game? With the success the Saints have had running the ball lately, and rumors that the Saints are going to try shorten the field and control the ball better with more of a run game, we'll definitely want his stopping power in there.

There will be a practice/injury report out later today, but according to Pete yesterday, EVERYONE was expected to practice and have the ability to play this week with the exception of Wright who is out this week and may be out next week.

Of course there can always be setbacks, so watch for Friday's practice/injury report. That one will give the best idea of who to expect to play on Saturday. Honestly though I expect there to be only Wright out due to injury.

I hope Mebane starts off the game with a 4-yard tackle for loss just like last time.

TV commentary and post game called it a Hip injury. Later clarified by Pete as a groin strain. Everyone but KJ is expected to practice.

Source: I googled "Brandon Mebane" and looked at news sites for papers that have a seahawks beat.

"Fat" chance he does that as we will not be confused on what play we're running this time around.

he was chillin on the sideline at the end of the game. no work being done on him and smiling talking to people. The game was already out of hand for the Rams and they probably just didn't wanna risk a slight strain turning into something more so they kept him out.

It was groin not hip, he is fine though. Will be stuffing the run on Saturday.
