Someone clearly did not tell him to just eat the ball if he fumbles the snap before they went out there. Very stupid play.

I'm also curious why Ryan didn't just fall on the ball. He should have known better. Don't just stop and look at it.

It is easy to see from the outside but he wouldn't be the first guy that panics in a situation he is not prepared to handle. He simply wasn't used to the situation or what to do and just made a really bad snap decision. Doesn't mean he would have made the same decision if in that situation again (without the knowledge of how bad it went) - the issue is probably that he hasn't practiced this in years......

When you hear the cliche' "playing within yourself," this is what people are talking about. Maragos has nowhere near the talent or athletic ability to pull off what he was trying to pull off.

But like I said before, Carroll should have never put him in that situation. Wasn't fair to him or Ryan.

Margo's is an idiot. It's one thing to fumble the hold, but what planet was his head on to blindly toss the ball over his shoulder with no time on the clock. Unbelievable!!!

I still can't believe he did that. That's something you would be surprised to see in pop warner.

What I saw was the Tennessee defender stripped the ball from Maragos. Looked like a Tennessee guy did a strip sack move that ripped the ball out.
