Most running backs don't stay healthy getting the vast majority of the carries all year. That's why hardly anyone does that anymore.
Like I said they don't make them like they used to, it's devalued the RB spot
because you need 2-3 that can start.

Agreed . Very few old school dudes. Many of the better teams have 2-3 capable backs , the season is too brutal. It's also why they don't get top FA money like a WR, CB or DE
Sorry, I basically said the same thing you did, I caught it after.

A $20 million cap raise only means another $300/ticket for season ticket holders. If I can help another underpaid NFL player make a few million more and avoid starvation, I'm happy to do so.
That's the spirit.(y)

Minimal worries?

The obvious “worry” is, can he stay on the field after we pay him.
I love the guy, and respect what he’s done recently.

Fact is his history suggests paying him top dollar is a gamble.

We’re going to have Charbs coming back, RBs will be available late in the draft.

Hmmmm

We have needs, every million counts.

The thing about gambling is, sometimes you win, sometimes you don’t

Not an argument, I just don’t believe it’s as cut n dried as some suggest.
Charbs may not be on the field till October to December, also he won't be close to his pre injury form till the following season most likely.

Main point being, RBs are or will be available.

We will have options, I love K9 and appreciate greatly his contributions but signing him to a big money contract is a gamble, especially when we consider his injury history.

My opinion is, make him a Respectable offer and let him test the waters.
If he’s willing to walk over 2-3 million, I say thank you and best of luck.

With the way our O line is developing, I’ll wager K9s production won’t be all that hard to replace if he leaves.
I fully believe it will be his choice if he isn’t a Seahawk next season.

I didn't realize it was that serious - that really sucks.

So we need another downhill runner. By the time it's our turn in the first round, all RBs could be available other than Jeremiyah Love, who will definitely be gone. I bet JS has his eyes on someone that others aren't putting enough value on.

I’ll go as far as suggesting that they have eyes on multiple prospects.

Maybe this guy.. we could probably get him in with a late round pick.

Gemini says:

Let K9 walk over $ if needed. Sign Tyler Allgeier for 7M/year. Draft a cheap speedster in the 4th or 5th round.

I'd see if we could get Tony Pollard from the Titans. Might even get released.

LJ Johnson Jr may be a nice steal to supplement Charbs next season and or come in for K9, not high ranked but I don't see a lot of issues with him, and he's fast.

And don't forget that they need to "Take care of my family." I mean, that's a few millions right there. And Lambos are expensive! I can feel a tear welling up in my eye right now!

Don't want him, 8 years in the league his best is behind him, Garrison from Pittsburgh may be better, or a draft pick if we are worried about Money.

Besides this time of years is nothing but a big game of Liars Poker and a bunch of hacks throwing out trades and guesses to hope to hit one and say they predicted it, yes and the other 1000 they got wrong trying to guess every situation.
