You said he's closing in on 30. You said nothing about at the end of the contract.

Context. 26 is not old. 28 is still not old. Call it what you want, he's a young receiver with a ton left in the tank.

Reminds me of all the people who acted like Michael Penix was 40 years old when got drafted. He was 23 when he got drafted. Gramps

At this point I agree. I know I've been pretty vocal about DKs flaws ( he does have them) but it wouldn't make sense. The return wouldn't equal what he does give bring to the team.

My question is what would it take ? Everyone has a price .

He's closing in on 30 years old and is going to want top WR money for his next deal .
This is where I am at. He won’t be worth trading.

I’m not letting him go for anything less than a top 6 pick, and no one with a top 6 pick would trade for him right now.

I’d trade for a true stud interior offensive line guy, plus a top 20 pick, but I have a hard time finding anyone who might take that trade.

If we are going to move him, I’d do it as part of the draft.

DK is an enigma .

Is he gonna be a big part of the offensive production or
a fumble / personal foul guy?
If he could be the former , hell no I wouldn't want to part ways . You're right , if he's going to get moved it would certainly have to be part of a draft day package. I'd take lineman + early picks if it were offered .

I just don't see a team doing that for him. He's worth more to Seattle than anywhere else.

Soulfish you use the laugh emoji so often it's lost its sting. Are you thinking my post is funny? Ridiculous?
Maybe you're just happy?

I'd rather read about what your thoughts are on the subject.

My guess is you want them to put him in the ring of honor , give him a 5 year 200 MM extension 😂 (see?)

JS is playing chess, not checkers. He's listening now to see what DK is worth in the off season. DKs signed through '25. A decision will have to be made after the season and knowing his value is a big part of it. Of course DK will want a payday and extension the day after the season ends. JS has to extend, trade or let him play out his last year. Meanwhile, if some random GM throws a king's ransom, great, but that's not what's really going on. This is the beginning of contract negotiations or weighing other options.

DK has zero personal fouls this season. He did have those fumbles in back to back weeks, but prior to that, he hadn't fumbled since week 5 of the 2022 season. He was just nine days short of going two full calendar years.

They have Pickens and Austin plus a strong run game. I'm not seeing it.
Russ would surely welcome a reunion with his favorite long ball threat. DK for the same reason. They had something going on between the two of them and are still tight. Pitt could use the bonafide deep threat and have depth to make the loss of a couple O Lineman workable. Or Watt would work as a one for one deal. LOL

DK and Pickens with Russ? Both are perfect fits with Russ and that offense would be a force.

You mean Calvin Austin who has like 3 career catches. The Stealers make the most sense to me.

I see what your saying about Austin, but it looked like he and Russ were starting to connect. They also have Washington and Van Jefferson. I just don't see them spending big money on a WR, but my opinion means nothing so who knows.

If a team is willing to give up a good lineman and first round pick they should take it. I know DK has crazy talent and would be a beast with a good offense. This team has so many needs and WR isn’t one of them.

I hate saying it, But if a team throws a 1st, 2nd & future 4th on the table we'd be stupid not to take it...

Dont trade DK. John will either get fleeced or not get any impactful linemen with the draft picks he gets for DK.
