kubiak: end up fired or a head coach?

I feel like kubiak has been waiting for this chance. I know that’s how I’d feel. I’d have a chip on my shoulder and be ready to work. Now I’m excited for him! Let’s go!

I dont think he will be bad enough in the first year to be fired. I also dont believe he is the answer. I think year 2 is the year that will tell his story.

Kubiak and the Seahawks win the Super in the 2027 season. Kubiak's starting QB, Jalen Milroe, wins the 2027 NFL MVP award and his starting running back Zach Charbonnet wins the Super Bowl MVP. Jets fire their head coach, Aaron Glenn, after his third season. The highly sought after Kubiak gets the Jets Head Coaching job after the 2027 NFL season.

Not every one has dreams /goals of being in charge I have not talked with Kubiak but I get the feeling he doesn’t have Head Coach aspirations. A lot will depend on what his wife thinks of the Seattle area and how much she wants to a stable life situation they have been moving a lot recently. If Kubiak does well the Seahawks could make him a well paid coordinator which would have him make as much as a team trying to hire him as a HC, over 1/3 of the NFL are paying their HCs less than $4 million per year

Who knows. At least he has a chance of a HC job in the future under MM. That wouldn't be the case with Pete.
