1. JJ Watt...or Swat as he sometimes known as.
2. Deandre Hopkins...I think he's going to really test this secondary
3. Arian Foster...

1. Brian Cushing

Watt is going to make his plays but the Seahawks can game plan away from him and make Wilson tire him out. It will be up to Cushing and Co. to contain Wilson so Watt can feast.

2. Hopkins doesn't scare me... see Legion of Boom. Owen Daniels on the other hand can exploit the middle of our defense.

3. Foster will be shutdown...imo... Ben Tate however could prove to be a more difficult task.

Andre Johnson, anyone? As far as I know, he has not been ruled out. The guy is just dealing with a deep bruise and could very well end up playing the entire game.

I think the biggest challenge for us will be dump-off passes to their running backs. I'm worried about seeing crap like that go for first downs all game. We can blanket their receivers, and we can pressure shaub. Can we do all that and also cover the flats and get some solid tackles on those guys before they make big plays? We will see.

Johnson has lost a step. I'm not worried about him. Sherman will probably shut down Hopkins; Shaub isn't the kind of guy to throw contested balls and let his guy go get it....they have to have a lot of separation.

Watt and Cushing. They will cause trouble. Wilson has this habit of thinking he can outrun every DLman, and taking sacks when he really shouldn't. Watt plays a lot faster than he measures, and surprises people at his quickness for his size.

I'm not worried about Daniels. He's not outrunning any of our LBers. He will get some catches but I don't think he's a game breaker this game.

I was expecting a list along the lines of:

1) Watt
2) J.J.
3) "Swat"

In all seriousness though, if we assign extra protection to where Watt is, we might have more trouble from someone else on their defense. Their offense shouldn't be a problem for our D to keep in line, but their defense has a ton of ability, even if thus far they haven't necessarily realized it yet in 2013.

LOL. You better hope the Seahawks don't think like you do. LOL. The Chargers didn't double him.....and he burned them for 12 catches 146 yards. Everyone doubles him.

While I don't agree with the comment about Johnson having lost a step, you don't need to double receivers if you stick Richard Sherman on 'em.

I don't think there's a chance Johnson misses Sunday's game.

Nice Op and many people forgot that the last time A. Johnson played, Receiving: A. Johnson (HOU) - 11 REC, 193 YDS, 2 TD

http://espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=291213034

I didn't forget. :180670:

Thank goodness this time around he is up against the best secondary in the NFL! Kubiak mentioned a couple days ago Andre will be playing.

Also, Ben Tate is a great running back and one to watch. He will be another teams feature back the way this guy runs. Hopkins was my favorite WR coming into the draft, good hands, routes. Good think he is still developing his NFL game when the Hawks meet him. Oh, that and Browner/Sherm.

texans to be worried about:

#1 Andre Johnson
#2 Duane Brown
#3 JJ Watt
#4 Brian Cushing
#5 Ben Tate
#5 Arian Foster
#6 That rookie WR, forgot his name

If either #1 or #2 can't play, or both, the Texans are hurting big time....

We have shutdown corners; San Diego doesn't. Andre will still make plays, but our guys don't need to double him.
