To be fair, if they had made the exact same commercial with Russell Wilson and made the crowd resemble Niner fans, I would love it. So, I don't want to be hypocritical. Let's just be glad that our fan base is relevant enough to be depicted as Kaep's worst nightmare.

The problem here is that Russell doesn't need some cheap-ass overpriced headphones, because he can already Ignore The Noise™.

Yes, I'm well aware that he owns and uses them.

Also, I don't think it's possible for anyone to dislike Wilson, therefor they even more useless.

And I'm pretty sure neither Kaepernick OR Wilson actually had to pay for their headphones.

I think it's tasteless and breaking the window of a bus is a little much for a commercial. It's got some funny stuff though, and while they'd probably be better off making it random fans it got two fan bases talking and spreading the word Beats so it's doing its job.

And as other's echoed it is hilarious that they used Kaepernick who's never won in Seattle and publicily acknowledges listening to haters. Would have been better had we crushed them down there but oh well.

lol@ all the people in this thread who are whining about this commerical damaging our image. C'mon. It's a commercial. Do you know anything about branding/advertising? Also, so what? It's based off the idea that the 12th man gets to Kaep. Which is a good thing. This commercial never would have been made if it wasn't for the seahawks and the 12th man crushing the niners whenever they come here. Some of you are so sensitive and butt hurt.

@Popeye, the parallels you drew between what I said and Russell being in an ad for Levis fall terribly and obviously short.

In the case of Kaep, the commercial is connected with items that are in or have recently been in the news: to wit, how he reacts to haters.

Within that context, it's much more significant that Kaep chose to appear in a commercial about it than it is if Russell appears in a Levis commercial with zero connection to anything or any issue surrounding him.

A media-savvy guy like Jared Allen would have selected a commercial where he laughs at himself about it. I think Peyton Manning has done a good job with that also.

A guy who isn't quite so media-savvy but it just grown up would have stayed away from it.

An immature kid like Kaepernick who thinks kissing his biceps is cool thinks that appearing in a commercial where he ignores the noise is making a statement. Like I said, high-school kid mentality.

Then the sign was upside down

That is when I knew they were trying to imply they were seahawks fans.

Well, you know they aren't 49er fans because they aren't hiding. Niner fans only exist when the team is doing well.

Take you two, for instance. After the Week 2 beatdown, you were nowhere to be found. If I wanted some smack talk with a Niner fan, I'd have to go to your crappy webzone forum and go post on the 8,000-page Kaepernick-hate thread. Of course, there were only like 20 posters in that thread, because the rest of the 49er "fans" just crawled under their bridges and went back to sleep.

Now that you finally win a game, you wake up and crawl out from under the bridge, and here you are! Loyal, devoted 49er fans! The NFL's best!

Hilarious side-note: I went to Candlestick Park 4 years ago, the year before Singletary was fired, to watch a Seahawks game. The ticket cost me $30 and I sat in the lower level. There were about 100 people there. It was so quiet that when the Seahawks were on offense, it was quieter than our own stadium. Best part of that game was when Hasselbeck looked up in the seats, laughed and put his hand to his ear.

How about those proud Niner fans!! Showing the rest of the NFL what it really means to be a fair-weather troll.

50 Cent's headphone company hooked up the Hawks:

‏@Kam_Chancellor
S/O to SMS audio for the head phones. Stepping up the competition.

@DougBaldwinJr
Preciate @smsaudio hookin us up with some ear-gear. Great move after that horrible @beatsbydre commercial.

Brilliant move to swoop in on Seattle players by 50cent.

Why wouldn't you want The Legion of BOOM to promote your speakers?

I think the Seahawks should hire the Husky Band and get them decked out in Seahawks attire but also make them Zombies marching on the 49er sidelines next game. That bus reminded me of one of the movies where they were in buses and trying to leave the mall. O maybe line up in front of the tunnel for them to come back on the field after half time.

Saw a part of a commercial this morning and the commercial said that the headphones ADVERTISED on that commercial were 19.95. NOT sure if they were the highpower ones but Just saw the portion of the commercial until they changed the commercial to a local one. Just an opinion. I also stated my other opinion earlier. Have a great weekend. Seahawks rule.
