Will be a very dynamic duo with the offense. MVS is another freak when used right. Lockett was good but not as a blocker and was a pussy tbh. Glad we improved our draft stock while improving our wr unit. DK bitched a little too much and was easily rattled mentally and psychologically in game by opposing DB’s. If you disagree you need to go and get your head examined and KUPP these nuts
You do not watch a lot of Seahawk football if you think Lockett is a soft. Ever hear a guy named Galloway?

Tyler Lockett, a 5'10, 180lb receiver who missed just THREE games over 10 years despite breaking his fibula and tibia in his 2nd year. No games missed due to concussions, no keep-him on the sideline days because he was covering from injury. Played in 76% of offensive snaps in the 161 games he was available for (out of 164), an average of 50 snaps a game for 10 years straight, catching 661 balls for 8,594 yards and 61 TDs because he was always available.

What a pussy.

Old Man Lockett was a business decision maker. Which is fine, but don't expect to keep your roster spot with low effort plays (as smart as it is). Not here to debate if it's good/bad, because who cares.

Football culture is what it is. It's almost as soft as the NBA at this point, I'm sure it'll get to that level soon enough. When that happens "going down early" will be considered the norm and not looked down upon.

Until that happens... "Fight for yards, fight for every inch. Football. Go America."

Shaun got called a pussy a lot.

We all know NFL players aren’t pussies.

It’s just an expression the OP used to say he was frustrated by TL going down prematurely early at the end of his career, let’s not get too upset. Let’s all admit that sometimes he went to the ground way early, like when the marker was 12 inches away.

TBH…. Tyler was probably the only player in the league that stayed away from pussy for most of his career.

When Lockett was younger, he was fearless, as you have to be when you are a kick returner. No more dangerous job in the game. So dangerous that they've had to legislate it so it isn't the same.

At age 32, he knew that one of his main jobs was to remain available, week after week, and he did what he had to do to stay healthy.

What a pussy.
Fight for the extra 5 or 10 yards instead of taking a knee. It really rubbed most of us the wrong way during those moments of fear for Ty. Look at Steve Smith’s career or Tyreke Hill. Much different

Well, sometimes I wish he was a little better about getting the first down before going down towards the end. He was also responsible for 397 first downs, and one lost fumble.

2nd Best at his position for the seahawks ever.

Odd post..

What are you even implying by this? And how would you have any idea?

Wow. Your best reply would have been "sorry guys, heat of the moment" and a GIF of Homer disappearing into the shrubbery. Instead, you're actually doubling down on your "Lockett is a pussy" nonsense.

Look at Bo Jackson's NFL career, or Victor Cruz's, Johnny Knox's, Darryl Stingley's, Bosworth's, Al Toon's, Dennis Byrd's, Greg Cook's, Ryan Shazier's, David Pollack's, Mike Sherrard's, Billy Sims's, Ki-Jana Carter's, RGIII's, Sean Taylor's, Eric Berry's, Andrew Luck's, Nick Collins's, Robert Edwards's, Jahvid Best's, Courtney Brown's (the Browns one drafted first overall), Cadillac Williams's, Marcus Dupree's, or Marcus Lattimore's.
That's the kind of career you can get instead of Lockett's when your antiquated ideas of masculinity (that were also nonsense in antiquity) would force the player to prioritize gaining one more blade of grass over player safety.

Or look at DK Metcalf fighting for an extra half yard and coughing up the ball for a turnover, which I remember him doing a few times a season. That's what you get when you prioritize gaining one blade of grass over ball security.
