Yeah, smoking weed, maybe, and murder ... reasonable analogy.

Good point because people were at an actual risk of choking as you expressed it....

I would laugh for days if Browner gets to play in the playoffs. Just to spite the haters in the media that equate the abuse with cheating or some kind of crime. Especially the ones that are stupid enough to think the Hawks are going to fall apart because they don't have Browner or Thurmond. The 2 inconsistencies in the Legion.

I want to see a strong finish to the season so the haters have to eat their words. No better way to start than with a strong win over the Saints.

So when it comes to news on this, anyone else think no news from either the league or the Hawks at this point is a good sign? (would love to have Browner AND Thurmond for the playoffs)

No news is definitely a good sign IMO. It tells me the league is trying to cover their asses. I hope I'm right

I think the fact that Parrish Cox was waived a day after he was signed along with the fact that Browner has not been put on IR to be extremely telling signs. I think the Seahawks know that Browner is going to be able to come back, but they aren't allowed to say so yet (and neither is Cox). Cox's own twitter commentary is highly suggestive to say the least.

Anyone have any idea when we might hear the ruling on his appeal?

This situation is still both very confusing and interesting. Hopefully BB wins and can play again.

No news is DEFINITELY a good thing each day that passes makes it more likely this whole thing is overturned.

Couldn't someone who failed a drug test claim they had entered a house or area that was filled with pot smoke, ( this IS Washington state after all), and consequently inhaled this second hand smoke thus registering a positive on the test?

Unlikely... But chowing down on a 420 edible without knowing is definitely possible.

Would love to see the Rog and his league get the bejesus sued out of them. :th2thumbs:
FWIW, I'm not letting Browner off the hook for his failed drug test either. Just think the NFL and the slime that is Roger Goodell need to be taken down a notch or three!
Could not agree with you more on both points Hernia.
