This post is pathetic.

Garbage teams change coaches, front offices, and QBs at the first sign of trouble. That's why they are garbage.

The best teams? They keep successful teams together, and don't react the way emotional fans do when the team struggles for 1 year.

The only coach with more wins over the past decade is Belicheck, and he let his knee jerk reaction get rid of the G.O.A.T QB.

Look at the other teams that make the playoffs all the time...Ravens, Saints and Steelers. Those teams have had the benefit of mediocre to weak divisions. No team more so than the Patriots.

Seahawks? The best division in the league, year in and year out. Multiple Super Bowl teams from this division in the last decade.

1 down year and people want to blow the team up and get the latest hot thing that always has a history of failing. Let's hire the Bears Coach of the Year! Jim Nagy! Let's hire the Colts GM of the year! Let's trade Russell for the Ravens back up QB because he played ONE good game!

Never mind that Russell Wilson has more wins in his first Decade than any other QB in history!

Get rid of John Schneider! The guy pulling DBs off the street that are playing at a high level!

Let's ignore the DK Metcalf draft, the Quandre Diggs trade, the LT we got from Houston, or the fact that he stole Clowney from them. Nope! We're in a bad mood...so fire everybody!

Might I say: "smh" :177692: :177692:

Fellow old timer, I am picking up what you are laying down brother. :2thumbs: :les:

This mindset is pathetic. 1 down year? Been all downhill for Hawks since this very moment. Go ask Beast Mode, Sherman, Bennett who called Pete out and was subsequently were run out of town because of it. Pete only wants "yes men" players and coaches that don't question him.

giphy-downsized-large.gif

What exactly have the Hawks done since losing Super Bowl to New England? Nothing. Mediocre at best and irrelevance. Divisional and Wild Card losses until this year missing the playoffs, altogether. Hawks haven't advanced past Divisional round since Super Bowl loss. Homer fans "But we won the division last year".

JS has failed at trading since winning Super Bowl. Jimmy Graham trade was a major dud because he wasn't used correctly and cry babies like you whined about his blocking ability. Hawks losing Max Unger which weakened already weak ass O-Line.

Jamal Adams trade was true gem. JS gives away top 10 pick to the Jets. Hawks have a bad season with nothing to show for it.

Sheldon Richardson another failure.

Why is it seemingly nearly every season assistant coach is blame for everything and made the whipping boy. Pete is the one hiring them, so where exactly is the accountability on him. He should have been fired immediately after Super Bowl Int, worst call of all the time.

DK Metcalf another Chad Johnson/Terrell Owens/Odell Beckham Jr/Antonio Brown problem child.

Hawks used to pride themselves on quality players but go for some players that end up getting into trouble with the law.

IF you were Ms Allen, what you have done since you took over? what will you do at this point?

Done a serious review of entire organization from top to bottom instead of handing out new deals without any consultation to 2 ass hats. Ms Allen claims the issues of this team have been ongoing for awhile, but yet her actions suggest otherwise.

And how exactly do you know what she did or didn’t do? Sounds like you’re just another He-Man woman hater.

You sound like another "yes man" kissing Pete's ass, drinking :179422:

Where do these people come from? Certainly not from Seattle...

This post cries of a fan that cant see past regular season records. This team has been regressing for years now. This season it just came to a head. Next season Seattle doesnt have the benefit of an easy schedule like the past two seasons so expect a record of 7 to 9 wins. Anyways once and if Seattle makes the post season, you know they are bottom tier chaf compared to the good teams. Seattle has become the team everybody wants to play in the post season. Thats not going to change under Pete Carroll. So if your content with that, by all means keep the same make up. Some of us would like to change the ever lasting trend and try something new.

First off, she hasn't done a single media interview since taking over and shows absolutely no devotion or otherwise to Hawks or Trailblazers for that matter. A real strange duck. She handed out and rubbed stamped new contracts like that to Pete/JS, whom have manipulated and played her like such a fool. She claims to be very upset about the season but will make no major changes. Firing assistant coach is the idea of change according to this market from the blow heart fan base and local media. Enjoy having another season like this next year with the same results.
It's obvious that you know the meaning of "pathetic"... I suggest if you don't approve of the way things are running that you break into your piggy bank and buy the team, then you can make the decisions.
While your waiting you should consider changing your name, nothin about your posts suggest that you are a Hawk fan, or any kind of fan, just another who lets the booze do your talking..

Hate much?

Guaranteed Paul Allen doesn't fire Pete or John either, 100%. So by your count, he then would also have been the most pathetic... because he wouldn't be doing what YOU think he should.

Got it

While I'd also like Pete gone, to insinuate Allen isn't engaged in the organization is at best speculation, and at worst flat out wrong.

From all reports she is VERY involved.

So just because we don't like her decision to keep Pete, to say she doesn't care is incorrect.

Pathetic is not the word I would use for Jody Allen. But she made a business decision to keep Pete. Guaranteed winning football and relevancy (and PROFIT) vs risking profit/viewership to build a true contender for another championship.

I'll say this right now, Pete will not sniff another NFCCG in the next 2 seasons (this means actually getting to that game) and he'll most likely retire at that point. If I'm wrong LTH can hold this over me, but if I'm right. I don't want to hear the constant injury and ref excuses people like to use season after season as a way to ignore schematic, top heavy roster and drafting issues.

She signs the cheques, stays out of the way and allows football people to make football decisions, doesn't publicly speak about a sport that she has no experience in, and doesn't embarrass the organization like Dan Snyder does or Jerry Richardson did.

It's what most sports fans should want out of ownership.

All that is well and good, but PC has got to go if this team wants to get back to being competitive. At the very least, put a layer in between Pete and the Front office, allowing him only input and no real power in player acquisition and draft. He was possibly top 10 type of coach a few years ago. Now he is in the bottom half out of 32 of them. I would rank him about #18. Jody is clearly not intereted in being at the head of a dynamic organization that has as a goal, a Championship chase every year.

:177692: Complete Nonsense.

Jody's modus operandi is in the manner of Paul Allen's successful modus operandi.

^IODIT^ < (sp) First off, it was her brother Paul Allen that went out & hired Pete in the first place, Pete rewarded him with a Lombardi...NOW, Brother Paul Allen KNOWS & TRUSTS Pete for his Football Smarts, NOW, Brother Paul passes away, leaving control over the Seahawks organization to his sister Jody & Vulcan Industries...Sister Jody saw no reason to go against big brothers' organizational skills, + KNOWING that Pete Carroll is an EXPERT at Coaching a PROFFESSIONAL FOOTBALL team, decides that after -> ONE <- sub .500 season, does NOT CALL for PUSHING the PANIC BUTTON, go off the deep end, throw childish tantrums and start firing people who UNDOUBTEDLY KNOWS MORE THAN YOU DO, as THAT would be something that a 'Not too tightly wound "Strange Duck" would even consider doing. :17: :17: :177692: :17: :17:

Hopefully she ends up being a better owner than Howard Schultz.
