Andy Dalton more likely. Backup in NO I think currently. Has history in Dallas and probably a lot cheaper than JG in terms of trade value and salary. Judging the game last night, Dallas will go with the backup because a marginally better QB isn't going to make a huge difference in record: depleted WRs and OL. Ceedee Lambs fantasy value just fell off the table.

He’s on a restructured cheap deal. They knew Trey was going to suck deep down so they kept Jimmy. Funny thing is he hasn’t even practiced until recently. Pretty sure we’ll see Trey next week but Jimmy will take over by week 3 or 4

So I just saw his new contract and its a steal for the 49ers. Just to show that he still has it, I can see Tray getting a mysterious 1 week injury and the 9ers throw in Jimmy with the plays that he can rock.

With injuries to the QBs or situations like ours, Jimmy gets traded. Some team picks up a starting QB for pennies and the 49ers get 2 first round picks.

It's probably the smart move, in this circumstance. My initial reaction, though, is that Jerry was so nonchalant with Romo's health, I automatically assume he's playing fast and loose with Prescott's.
