I just don't get this complaint.
Garcia has a differing opinion, doesn't really say anything objectionable about the Seahawks, and yet he's a bad guy because he didn't pick us? Seems a little weak in the panty twist department...
That said, I always thought a little more of Garcia than other fans I know. He always struck me as that guy that nobody wanted to succeed, yet he always put up good numbers and never really bitched about the lack of organizational and fan support.
Trent Dilfer, on the other hand, needs to stop talking likes he's some HOF'er who threw for 75,000 yards and 400 TD's. Maybe I'm wrong about this, but I would think he's generally considered the "weakest" of the Super Bowl winning quarterbacks. And the fact that the Ravens didn't want him back after winning it all should say something about his QB abilities (or lack thereof). But none of that seems to stop the jackass from talking (and acting) like he's in the peer group of Brady, Warner, Favre, Manning and Brees. I was just listening to SVP & Russillo and Dilfer is on there, talking about the Brees hit in the 49er game; his demeanor is so ridiculous for such a marginal NFL quarterback. In the span of five minutes he was an analyst, a psychologist and a doctor...he was a complete 'effing blowhard.
IMO, he's become one of the more embarrassing former Seahawks. We've had guys that have done criminal things, but those idiots tend to fade quickly from memory; Dilfer, on the other hand, just won't go away and die. Where is laryngitis when you really need it?
