Just because it's pertinent...

Kaepernick on Jaworski's best-ever comment: "I'm very flattered by it, but at the same time I haven't played a full season."

Someone needs to point out to Jaws that like 80% of being an NFL quarterback is between the ears, not where the physical measurables are.

I think he's taking that into account. If he weren't he'd be talking about Cam Newton.

Not saying I buy into his theory BTW.

Two pages so far, huh? Yikes..... Anyway, I will say this again..... Kaepernick is well received and very popular nation-wide.... So, how do you sell a story? Ummmmm..... Talk about Kaepernick. While, yes, he is an excellent QB, I have a feeling the article and Jaws himself went over the top to sell a story, nothing more.... just my .02

Yeah, how does he think he knows anything about NFL QB's. :sarcasm_off:

He has forsaken his experience in the NFL for troll ratings. Considering your hard-on for big business, I'm guessing you love that mindset, though.

I actually really like Jaws. His speech cadence bugs me sometimes but I have always enjoyed his breakdowns.

He's bit out over his skis on this one tho. I know he's talking about potential, but potential has gotten alot of coaches fired.

Jaws has also had nice things to say about Wilson.... I think he just went overboard here, but I do think he is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to QBs, breaking down film, etc.....

I can't wait to see the "what went wrong" articles about Kaepernick. He's not that good.

So coaches, former coaches, league executives, analysts, and former players all seem to be brain dead and you've got it all figured out huh...

I've heard a few coaches, former coaches, league execs, analysts, and former players mention skepticism about Kaep. What Kaep is missing can be taught, we'll see if he catches on. I don't think he will. What Kaep has are all measurables. There have been a lot of guys with those measurables that have flamed out in the NFL. I think Kaep will join that list.

Well...as a 49er fan I have to say.....

WOAH there Ron. SLOOWWWW down!!! LOL!!

Kaep has a long way to go to even be CONSIDERED among the best 49ER QBs, let alone the league.

No sheeit!

Kaep isn't even the second best QB SF has had. Montana was the model QB come game time, no one disputes this. Then of course there was that Steve Young guy who could run like crazy and sling it like Brady.

10 NFL games and that kind of assessment? Jaws... drugs are bad... mmmmmkay.

Please... come on 60, you aren't buying that load are ya? And you know damn well some of those guys are brain dead. Some of them are the same ones that said RW couldn't play.

In terms of measurables, Kaepernick is up there though. I"m thinking top ten in speed, mobility, arm strength, accuracy. I'm also putting Russell up in the top 10 also.
What gives the 49ers great confidence in Colin is not so much Colin's intangibles, but his coaching. Harbaugh has a great record with QB's in coaching them up, and because of that record, I think it's a greater probability that Colin will be just fine and fulfill Jaw's prediction to a certain extent, rather than utterly fail it.

Lol no way... I'm just trying to make counter-argument that there are smart people out there that think he's not quite as crappy as Mr Ducati thinks.
