McQuistan isn't the chosen whipping boy. And yes, he was just as bad, if not worse than Carp.
What cracks me up is that draft position factors in to how much certain fans rip on certain players. If McQ was the former 1st rounder and Carp the veteran FA signing, good chance it's McQ who gets all the hate. That's stupid to me. How a player was acquired shouldn't affect how much criticism he gets or doesn't. Each player is playing football for the Seahawks. Their play should be 100% the reason for crticism/giving a pass. Who cares how a player was acquired? Unless it's a player like Aaron Curry making a ton of $. So what? You want your guys to play well. Period.
